Barbara, I USE T-Gel shampoo. It's tar based but does not have an unpleasant odor. You can get it most drug stores. I also use a conditioner after. It seems to work for me. Hope this helps.

As far as OTC's it worked for me but I don't have it on my palms. It seemed to moisturize but not prevent spreading. I am using a perscription cream that seems to get rid of the flaking and is fading the red color.

I know what you mean. Mine has been very bad lately. I have not been able to dye my hair in 5 years. I don't wear black anymore because of all of the flaking. Have you tried T-Gel shampoo.? It's tar based.

Mine is my lower back going down to my buttocks. It makes it painful to sit. My one knee is bad. It hurts to bend it. My newest is my naval. That really hurts when I wear jeans. I ask myself,"Where will I break out next?" Frustrated!!!

I am also tired and have no energy. My theory is that our bodies are in over drive making all of these skin cells. Also, I think just the stress of having psoriasis drains me. My quality of my life with it's limitations draining my energy. Agree?

Sierra, are you on any steroids? I am and the side effect is Thrush. I had it on my tongue and throat and my Doctor gave me a perscription mouth rinse. You might want to ask your Doctor.

I know what you mean. Half of my dust pan is full of skin and the other half is full of dog hair. I swiffer my hardwood floors every day!
