Congrats! I've been looking into light therapy and I'm really considering going for it, would you recommend it?

I usually use the steroid treatment to calm it down and then try and moisturise regularly to keep it at bay. I find it really difficult to get into a routine with the treatments though😅 I definitely agree with you that treating it before it turns into a problem helps a lot! Thanks!

I hardly drink alcohol and I don't smoke so that's pretty easy for me.

I understand. Occasionally I don't feel like using any medication but sometimes the itching and soreness gets so painful that I don't have a choice.

I use a steroid medication called [...] that my doctor prescribed for my scalp psoraisis. It doesn't get rid of the plaques on my elbows but it does stop flaking and reduces redness.

I use [...] which is a topical steroid medicine and if I constantly use it my psoriasis practically disappears. If I stop using it, it comes back a few days later. I'd suggest trying an intense moisturiser regularly once you've come off of the steroids to try and keep it at bay.
