I am a garden variety South African middle aged male ,with way to much mouth and far too little brain power! Psoriasis was adorable i'm sure in the Jurassic age, but currently this disorder just makes me feel vulgar and repulsive !
Hi Peter... trying to get my P under control because when Covid started I decided to go off my meds to build my immune system …. well that caused such problems after about 7 months as I had the worst flare up & in places I didn't have Psoriasis …. well im back on my meds now hoping it will return to normal soon...

Mike I started with an elimination diet that I have sent to many on this site. If you want it message me. Sugar, sugar, sugar for me is poison. I cut out all sugar and rarely eat processed, although at times it is what we do. For example I made a great chili last night with broadbeans. I had to use canned tomatoes. Many on this site can't eat tomatoes, but I can eat any vegetable. I also cut out pasta/bread/potatoes as they turn to sugar in our bodies. Fruit is minimal and only in my protein shake in the morning. Kind of a diabetic diet I think. I never did go gluten free as it is processed. I make an awesome quinoa flatbread with avocado, tomatoes, and basil on top. You can google it or I can send you the recipe. My kids love it too. Pretty much all diseases start in the gut. Once that gets better and you start to renew your mind, there is this awesome shift that happens. It did for me. No creams, or medications now for a long time with all my autoimmune diseases I was diagnosed with. Blessings to you and have a great day!
