Been there Clive. My hearing went very crappy. I found when I managed to clear up my P for a bit, it left everywhere at the same time. I needed to get the overall P to slow down. My hearing is still kind of crappy but has improved somewhat after I got everything else down to a simmer.

I've used Vaseline. I think that's the same thing. I used a bit and then mentioned it to the nurse who does my light treatment. She says 'oh yeah, that works pretty great'. I wondered why no one mentioned this prior. Such a simple thing.

Ouch! That hurts. I use a touch of hydrocortisone cream and baby powder, but mine isn't severe there. I also put cotton pads so that the skin doesn't touch itself.

Trying to avoid it Chris. Liver and lung killer I hear. But I'm up next. Been trying to avoid it for 8 years, but I'm running out of options. Let me know how it goes.

A stressful time Margaret. My psoriasis started when my husband was dying. I was 48. I have it everywhere too. In fact, I was in treatment and living in the hospital with my husband when he died. Stress has a large impact for sure. I've been off and on, never clear, but sometimes at a level, I can deal with. I hope you get there too. Cheers, contact me anytime. I'm not on here very much but I will get back to you.

I took Acitrentin for about 4 years. Shortly after I had cholesterol issues and elevated blood pressure. Then my enzymes became an issue with my liver. Stopped taking and got rid of my liver enzymes. yey! Overall I don't think it helped a lot if at all except in the beginning possibly. I really hope it works for you. Yeah!!
From Has Anyone tried cbd oil for P? by Chris
24 Oct 00:22
I had some CBD cream that I used as an experiment for someone who was making it. It worked extremely well. But it was too expensive for me to continue with. 70+ percent of my body has been inflamed for about 9 years, give or take. So it takes too much coverage to afford. But yes, I think it does help.

Met the love of my life through online dating. Sadly he passed away after only a few years together. Still love him fiercely. My suggestion? Take another chance. Lots of toads there for sure, but also a few gems like yourself.

Been on this since February or so. I didn't get a lot of the side effects other than I have to eat quite a bit prior to taking it. I feel a bit off for a half hour or so after still, but eating helps a lot. Yup, the weight loss without trying is a real thing. Not complaining about that! Not so sure it's working anymore, but summer is my worst time, so I'll stay on a while longer. Hope it works for you.

Things are really well here in my Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. We only had a minimal amount of cases, most of those cases and those who died were in a nursing home. I work with seniors and I've also done shifts in that home, so it was heartbreaking for to me.

Hi Mark; so does the the big M keep your P under control? My Derm has been pushing me towards this for a few years now. My other go-to's are failing. I've been avoiding this for about 8 years now. Since the very beginning of my first outbreak. My first Derm said under no circumstances take that. I don't have him anymore because I had to go to treatment as an emergency and my Dr changed. I've been told I have to have a liver biopsy every 3 months if I take it.... don't like the idea of that....

Just giving blood is probably okay. I take a medication for my P that disallows my giving blood. I feel like an outcast as I used to do that. I have to wait for 3 years to give blood. My Question is... what the heck they are subjecting us to if we can't even give blood ... for a very long time. Peace. xo

From Does going on the sunbed help with psoriasis? by james
25 Feb 20:31
I've been told by my Derm that a sun bed is very dangerous. It's not the same as 'light treatment' or the natural sun, different bandwidth of light, and that it has even more complications with P sufferers as they are more likely to get cancer.
