love to laugh and have fun but obviously I am also very stressed ..My psorasis was caused by Post Traumatic Stress...got it 3mnths after I was hijacked !!!
So, I met my partner on Flaym and we decided to get married in December. He might be miles away but we got through it all. Remember, love is around the corner from you and nothing is impossible. To the single Flaymers; There is someone out there who will accept you for who you are and love you unconditionally. :)
Aye Michelle it itches like crazy ...and scratching brings such relief & trauma to the scalp … I actually enjoy looking for the thick pieces of scalp to pick away.. but that comes with a price as I pull my hair out at the same time...and because I know its there , even if not itchy , my hand automatically goes to my head to start scratching & looking for scabs to pick … & that's when I end up with snowflakes all on my clothes...….no win situation … I think I have to wear mitts...……. hahaaaaa
This might sound terrible but self pity will bring you nowhere. If you want to improve your self esteem try to accept your condition and be nice to yourself. Focus on what you can change then give it your best shot. I had a very low self esteem many moons ago, I was miserable, felt sorry for myself AND I was OVERWEIGHT. so I decided to change that. I lost weight to try to at least look good in clothes as I did not want to be overweight with Psoriasis. Well, my P went into remission for 10 years. Only you can make a difference in how you want people to see you. Be positive, stay strong and don't loose focus. EVER. :)

Hi Lee. Well that's a good thing then when having psoriasis. Also dairy. Cut all dairy out and rather stay with greens, (salads/veggies). I found that fish is the best meat for my Psoriasis. Whenever you can, add turmeric to your food. Its a great anti-inflammatory spice. I normally drink a teaspoon full in water in the mornings. It helps keeps the inflammation at bay and my itch disappears quickly too. :)
