Hi Mahommed … you need to wash your hair with a TAR shampoo ..apply the shampoo to your hair , leave on for about 15mins then rinse off... I also apply a mix of oils to my scalp…..to help with the dryness & itch...hope this helps.

HI Carolyn..... that is true & I tend to pick at the scales on my scalp …. feels good but so wrong & it pulls my hair out also...

Hi Carolyn & Rosie … I also use Tar Shampoo for my scalp P … its the best & does not make your hair fall ...although scalp P does make my hair come out in bunches... like the other P sufferers have skin everywhere I have hair everywhere … so the struggle is just as real ….I rub the shampoo on my dry scalp & leave for about 15mins before washing... the smell is not the best but it helps...….

Aye Michelle it itches like crazy ...and scratching brings such relief & trauma to the scalp … I actually enjoy looking for the thick pieces of scalp to pick away.. but that comes with a price as I pull my hair out at the same time...and because I know its there , even if not itchy , my hand automatically goes to my head to start scratching & looking for scabs to pick … & that's when I end up with snowflakes all on my clothes...….no win situation … I think I have to wear mitts...……. hahaaaaa

Aaawww Michelle & Bev...hope you ladies get well soon …..I have been suffering with my scalp P … have a major flare & oiling doesn't seem to be helping or my oral meds ... but I will persevere..

Hi Ashley … have you tried TAR shampoo. I also have P on my scalp … I also use a mix of oil on my scalp to ease the itch ..when I have a flare I oil my scalp nightly then wash it in the morn for work … If im at home I keep it oiled until the flare is over... then I just give my scalp a good oil once a week ..
