Psoriasis is horrible in old age..wondering what Pharmaceutical company will ever help me buy the meds that would help me attain some form of quality of life??
Lindakay, that is great news and I'm happy for you. The sunbathing is definitely a yes to all of us. It does make a difference in our P. I used to have a pool and this is the first summer I'm without one. My P is showing it but at least I get some sun. (The chlorine dried out my P and my P actually disappeared (until winter lol))
Good luck and try to sunbathe more often if you can and if the weather allows it. :)
That's great Lindakay, live the life of your dreams now. You know, confidence? I feel it’s something that is always there, something you’re born with that gets lost along the way, or stolen by others. Sometimes you have to dig deep to find it again and when you find it, you feel magnificent. You have come a long way Lindakay and you have made Psoriasis yours, and not the other way around. Well done in staying persistent and positive to achieve your goals. :)
Yup. The sun is God's natural healer in many ways. I actually knew a woman here who had psoriasis really bad, especially on her arms and legs. She wore long shirts and pants all summer long because her psoriasis actually got WORSE in the sun. I mentioned diet (she's very large and eats tons of crap). She said it's a DISEASE... Not even willing to try but that's her journey. As many of you know I think it's more a dis-ease in the body, manifesting on our skin and in some our joints.
