Hi Marmara. Like Million, I listen to my body. I had a chocolate yesterday as I felt tired and needed some sugar. Within an hour I started to itch. I hardly ever eat chokkies because I know I can't. But it was so damn delicious!

have you checked you soap you wash your self with or detergents ect, found it does irritate mine

Strep definitely for me too! Stress, illness, diet. Still not sure what about diet though even after 8 months of eliminations! Still working it out. Will be a lifelong project!

Experiment with foods. Go right back to basics. Introduce foods one by one to see if it triggers your p.

Hi Marmara, there are a few triggers I am very sure of. I found out by watching and listening to my body.
Infections, high humidity and wintertime ( to less sun or to dry inside because of heaters).
There must be more triggers I don’t know about.

Mine builds up long term. I don't really get many instant reactions from stuff, as I have learned this past year from a lot of experimentation! It has taken a month of reading nightshades again for the effects to show, and wow they did show... So they're back out again!

its my first week now trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle. its gona be a real challenge to give up fizzy drinks. #fingerscrossed.

I think that once yourvgut gets used to the food you're eating, it doesn't mind if you cheat sometimes. I often cheat on my diet but likevi said before, its not a diet anymore bit a lifestyle change. Been eating likebi do for a very long time which is why food dont trigger my P anymore but...I stay away from lamb stew. Had bad inflammation because of that. My advice is stay away from fizzy drinks. Bad food too but fizzy drinks gives me inflammation. I mean, look at all the crap they put in there.

Yes about 4 months. You have to persevere and when you notice improvement you won't want to go back to your old ways. Good luck.
