True David. If you look at the amount of money they spend on the corona virus, finding a cure a for it, why can't they spend so much on finding something for our P? my hubby and I had a conversation about this too and thing is that they don't see P as a life threatening disease. They do not know what it is to live with it. They do not know the hell people are going through because of this. I don't think any of them have P. If hey had, they would've concentrate more in finding a cure.
lol Jane. we are all bored believe me. I can't stay at home not doing anything. I do work from home sometimes if I don't go to work but thing is, I'm still at home. sitting infront of my laptop working. the only thing is that I'm getting fat lol. I'm gaining weight from all the sitting. I'm not used to sit this much. If you work in a very stressful environment then I'ts good to stay at home where you can relax and your P too. sometimes staying at home is good for us. no stress but I think when you have kids in the house, it will be a madhouse
I have plaque P and I had inverse as well under my breasts but its long gone now. Furthermore, I have Psa as well and oh boy, when I eat something bad, I can feel it in my bones. the inverse is more painful to me than the plaque. My P doesn't burn or itch anymore because I watch what I eat. I haven't had flakes in months. I think the last time I flaked was when I was on holiday with my hubby (December 2019). I have been eating very bad these past weeks but luckily im not itching or flaky.
I got a spot on my face too but I have changed face creams. I'm usually very careful of what I choose. This one has been here for some time and I agree, it does take longer to go away. why do my spots on legs disappear quicker than the one on my face? I'm not worried as it is not getting bigger. It looks more like a dark spot? I think its P. Stay safe too Diane and I wish you well?
hey John. I have been letting my hair down as well. A LOT! I gained weight. feels like 20 pounds but I know I'm only exaggerating. who can snack on a carrot during lockdown, watching movies? not me. nope, Im armed with popcorn and iced tea. got a few spots on hand from sanitiser and few on legs but I'm not too worried about it. I know it will go quick. thing is, its getting close to winter now and I have to take care of my skin. the cold will trigger more spots so I am done with the crap eating and just keeping warm. luckily our winters gets up to 25 degrees and on its lowest for a couple of days maybe maybe maybe -2 degrees but doesn't stay like that for long.
well hello stranger. haven't heard from you in aaages :)
I'm glad your knee and you are doing great. good thing you're in quarantine so now your knee can have extra time to recover. we are all masked up here in SA too, hand sanitizer has triggered few spots on hand but nothing severe. I love the lock down to be honest. Streets are empty and so are the shops. I just LOVE IT. I'm really surprised at how SA is doing during this time. We have a bit of looting but everyone works together by staying at home. I just feel sad for the poor people. Our groceries went up. the price is just insane on food. everything came down except for the food price. ah well, we will survive. Keep safe and good to see you back! :)
Hey Peter. as good as it can get thank you and hope you are too?. Just a pity the liquor stores are close lol. It doesn't really have an impact on my life as I'm not a socialistic person. I'm a hermit and prefer it like this. Its wonderful driving to work with no traffic. I LOVE IT. We try to keep healthy and stay safe. Thing is that all this hand sanitizer is not good for my skin. I got a few extra spots because of it but its not severe. :)
nobody responded to this. people think you can fix your condition with alternatives. it doesn't work. biologics yes, gives you relieve now, but what about tomorrow? just change your diet and don't be lazy about it. I haven't had pasta in weeks and my itch went. If youreé looking for an alternative then I'm sorry it won;t work,
This is a pondering issue...I mean, taking into consideration our immune system, shall we take extra care? I'm still okay. been taking immune boosters like mad but if we get sick? all I can say is... ladies and gents... lets keep our immune system up okay? drink your immune boosters and lets stay healthy.
Hi Roxanne. Don't feel bad at all. It is not your fault. Instead of feeling guilty you can be there and support your son and help him to understand the condition and how to deal with it. Introduce him to Flaym and let him read the posts of what to eat and what meds to use. This is an early stage for him and he can learn how to control it by starting to learn what food and drinks to have. I know some do not agree with the diet change but it helps a lot and it becomes a lifestyle, something he will benefit from it at the end of the day. Good luck to you both :)
yes that's good that you stopped it. if medication makes you sick then its better to just stop it as it might trigger something else. your P will get worse because your body is stressed. talk to your GP and ask if he has something else you can take? Sorry I did not see your previous post so I'm not sure what the meds are for? Good luck and I do hope you get better G. :)
well, my thoughts on this is, the easiest way to depopulate the earth is with vaccine shots. Some people do not want to give their babies the shot and what happens then? baby gets measles and die. Etc etc etc.
We live in a cruel world, we need the bad to survive for a while. Our bodies are so used to the vitamins we take in pill form or injections so what happens when that stops? you get sick. so how did the Neanderthals survive? they lived from plants, fish and meat and still they were strong but life span was till about 35 years. They never got a shot or anything to prevent a bad illness. Stronger immune system perhaps. Luckily some have Neanderthals DNA so we can fight off the flue. Okay I'm derailing now, but yes, we are all brainwashed by pharma companies and I have to add that some do care about making life easier to those who suffer.
awww G. I'm sorry to hear this but hey, chin up. Children are precious and they only see the good in things. Words may effect us more but we should start looking through the eyes of a child and see what they see then only we will see what we need to see and not what we want to see. It hurts inside when people or even children make a remark but you just stay strong and positive and because of you, the girl will grow wiser in things she see in others. :)
Hey Gary. well if that's the case then I'll permanently be on steroid ointment lol. Yes its sad to know that P can take away your zest for life, outdoor spirit etc but we just need to learn how to manage it. See what works for us. I'm using a coal tar based cream - coal tar mixed with aqueous cream. Been using it for many years. My P is looking great but I also had to change my lifestyle. Eating healthy. Thing is I can't eat too much of brussel sprouts and cauliflower as its gassy and when I'm bloated my P starts to itch. My P improved when I started drinking and eating turmeric. It does help.
