Thank you Sid. Ah I see about the blood tests and tablets. Not good I'd say. So you were one of the first guinea pigs in the UK lol. I hope you don't mind me saying that. Not meaning anything bad by it. You had guts to do that Sid and I take my hat off for you. I don't think I would've done that to be honest. Thanks to you and others, many can use it even though there are side effects. I guess one will try whatever you can to get better right? I'm glad you're happy. you sound positive and that's a good thing. :)
Hi Sid. Thank you for that. I'm glad you're happy with the biologics and that it helps you. I'm still very weary but also its understandable from my side. You are keeping healthy and that's good. no need to check what will happen once you stop drinking the organic juice. It helps and thats it. :) May I ask why you go for so many blood tests if you know you have P? how does it help? I'm sure you're happy to have smooth skin Sid, that's basically the only thing we wish for right? we don't care about beauty or riches, more about having a clear skin. no money can buy you that. well, my opinion of course ;). My P is not severe at all and I can't say I'm suffering but it will be nice to have clear skin. :)
Hey Alex. I'm from South Africa. Went once to donate blood and they refused me because of my P. Now...would they rather let the person die than accepting the blood from a P sufferer if nothing else is available? I understand that a HIV person can't donate blood but P is different. Ridiculous if you ask me.
Have you noticed that only ignorant shallow people do not understand others with conditions? It's because they only look at the surface. They have no idea how to use their brain by expanding their views. We live in a society in which considerable importance is attached to an attractive, healthy appearance. Beauty ideals in all cultures include an even skin tone that is free from blemishes. Yet skin conditions are very prevalent. Negative emotional impacts include enduring states of anxiety, depression, and social anxiety, as well as more transitory states of shame and embarrassment from the stigma of feeling different, negative body image, anger, guilt, and self-consciousness. WHY SHOULD WE FEEL LIKE THIS? We need to stay focus and have a healthy strong mind to put these people in their place or not to let them make us feel this way. It's difficult and we face a lot of challenges every day. Remember, when you start accepting your condition, then only will you start becoming more positive and laid back where your condition is concerned. You'll start seeing things more in perspective and ignore the shallow people whom is trying to bring you down. I work with accountants, Executives, MD's and CEO's and let me tell you, they all know about my P. They are understanding and not one has ever looked down on me because of it. Why? because they are not shallow. they are intelligent and open minded and accept the unaccepted. Do not social with idiots. stay away from toxic people or you will lose yourself. Good luck and I do hope everything will turn out well for you. Like Phil said, God does help. He helped me and others and He will help you to get through the difficult times. We all have choices we need to make and we have to choose wisely. :)
I've just read up on Trymfya. Problem is that it weakens your immune system and which can lead to infection more easily. Which means you have to always make sure you keep your immune system strong and try not to get ill. It sounds great though but I'll pass this one. After the strep throat my immune system was so weak that I got bronghitis straight after and I struggled for 3 weeks to get rid of it. I got spots where I never had before. Debbie and Sid, how do you keep your immune system up while taking this product? and how does your skin react when you stop using it?
Hi Daniela. Stress is bad for us yes but we need to learn how to deal with it unfortunately. We have to remember that we come first and deal with our stress positively. I believe that everything we do is a choice. the decisions we make, the way we handle conflict or people, what we eat, decide, what or who we let into our lives etc. Thing is that when I'm stressed or sad or fed up, I withdraw myself from family, friends etc to find myself again, sometimes I push them away to get only to find that inner peace and then I decide on what to do. Sometimes I'll go out just for the balance of it all. We all deal with stress differently but one thing that is true, is always stay positive. be objective, face what's coming your way. Take time to think and work from there. Don't let your stress become a negative impact on your life as it will break you down and you'll become depressed. stay focus on what you want. As soon as you have dealt with your stress, your P will also become better. Have a strong mind and remember that your subconscious also play a part on your well being.
