Genital Psoriasis: Had an interesting read yesterday that Genital psoriasis occurs in 29 to 40% of psoriasis patients, according to a literature review. That percentage increases in people with inverse psoriasis.

Triggers for a flare: immune system, and environment. I have found that when I'm in a polluted area my skin flares up. When eating bad food in a polluted area, the flare gets worse and takes longer to heal. Anybody else experienced the same?

How frequently have you experienced a psoriasis flare this past year?

Good morning my lovely Flaymers. I haven't had red meat in a couple of days now and I can see the improvement in my Psoriasis. The two new spots I got from the bad eating during the festive season is fading and my PsA is much better.

How do you feel when you find new spots on your body? Panic? Angry? Disappointed? or?
I keep track of my spots and when I see one in an area where I've never had before, I panic.

Banana Curry salad: I like bananas. Don't eat them often but one thing I eat a lot, is the banana curry salad. One of the ingredients are mayonnaise and as you know mayo is good for scalp psoriasis as well. Any of you tried the mayo on your scalp?

Psoriasis friendly wardrobe. It's the first time that I actually notice that I have a P friendly wardrobe. All my clothes are breathable and light, and even my shoes are comfortable.

Having had P on my feet, I couldn't wear open shoes to work so I always had a pair of slippers under my desk. Nobody thought funny of it and it made things easier for me as it covered the top of my feet. I love slippers. Anybody else? :)

I think I should rotate my treatment for my Psoriasis. I've been using my coal tar mix for many years and it is great for the short term P, but I can't get rid of the long term ones.

How many of you have tried the HelloSkin Products? I see it is only available in Denmark and UK?

Living in South Africa is a blessing as we have the most wonderful weather throughout the year but this heat is killing me and my P is looking very red.

Hi My lovely Flaymers. I had Gammon last Sunday and I thought I'm going to be covered in flakes and be inflamed etc. It's Wednesday and there's no sight of flakes or inflammation. Anybody else have experience with Gammon?

Have a lovely weekend my Flaymers and to those going on holiday, be safe and look after yourself :) xxx

Having P for 27 years, I've never had problems with my eyes. Yesterday I felt a burning sensation on my eye lid. I'm not sure what it was and scared I might get a spot on my eye.

Psoriasis is like alcoholism: it never goes away, but only remits. Do you agree?

I have read that Pineapple is good for Psoriasis and the bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapples, is thought to be anti-inflammatory as well. I become itchy from eating Pineapples. How many of you have the same problem?

Hi My lovely Flaymers. Hope you are all well? Weekend is here! With this new company I work for, they have a lot of meetings. With every meeting there is food. If I have to keep munching, I might either gain weight or be covered in P soon.
