Lindakay that's very cool. Yes, those kids on the spectrum are very inspiring. My daughter too on that spectrum is fascinating.
This is not meant to be egotistical at all, but with all that I have endured in life, I actually am starting to inspire me. Been a long journey of great stuff and struggles too. One day when my book is written, you'll all be invited to that adventure of restoration of the mind/body/soul...
Oh yep. This. Can you try to change something up in your kids routines? I've been doing this recently as I was feeling a bit "samey" about how the weeks kind of resemble each other too much sometimes. So last week we went to the ice cream parlour for an afternoon there on the park. This week, we went up to an old stately home and played in the wooden playground there for an afternoon. Next week, we're going to to go to a soft play place where they can have dinner, and I don't have to cook for them! I'm doing this recently as I felt like we should do more of what we all enjoy. I'm also trying to have one night a week with no TV or devices (this is for me, when my kids are in bed). I am trying to use it to make myself read the newspaper or a magazine, do a Headspace meditation, call my family from whom I live apart. So that not all my evenings fly by and feel rushed! It is totally a hamster wheel with young children, as you describe!
I just love that Lindakay. How proud you must be indeed! My family inspires me as well. Also the people I work with and support. They have developmental disabilities and are such a joy to be around. I miss them very much as I have been off work for for over a year. Love and enthusiasm also inspire me. :)
I have a confession to make, I haven't been to the doc since the guttae showed up. We're very understaffed at work and I just haven't found the time. Next week hopefully. Meanwhile, showering using a no soap coal tar substitute and moisturising like a mad man has calmed the itching big time. I'm going to lemon my toe this evening and Vaseline it in the morning, see if that helps, otherwise I'll just cuss at inanimate objects till I get to my GP.
I find that acv on scalp works if i leave on all night, also after shampoo am I rub a bit in front scalp where I have P, and it actually makes my hair shiny and combats the darn flakes. I use a bit on a cotton stick-swab and rub into eyebrows. I just do it all the time, and If I stop, the flakes come back. LOL I have so many steps in the morn and nite that it is crazeee :} i could never go camping HAHA
