Hello. I am 23 and I’ve had psoriasis since I was 11. I am currently studying Animal management level 3 (I will be doing the 2nd year to that in September) and it’s almost the 5th year of me studying animal care at college. I aspire to be a vet nurse
I used to use a shampoo for my scalp psoriasis but my hair started coming out. Like usually little strands of hair does come out when I’m in the bath washing my hair or brushing it. To be honest I don’t know what to use for my hair because I’m scared of it all coming out. I too would like to know what to use.
On some level I relate. My family don’t understand the struggles on P and honestly they have the ‘well we don’t understand because we don’t have it attitude’ and sometimes they can take the mick. I live in accommodation and they say it’s better when I’m there. Most families are dysfunctional but that’s not your fault whatsoever
Hi Michelle thank you :) you always know what to say. You are a very wise and fantastic lady and the people that know you in real life are lucky souls. I am generally a positive person but sometimes negativity can creep in. I have actually had a talk with her explaining how it made me feel and I tried to make her understand but it must have gone in one ear and out the other. I am a few years older (she’s 19) and I guess realistically I shouldn’t stoop to her level. I always take each day as it goes.
This friend is short and chubby, hairy and she has an internal illness but I have never and will never put her down. Accepting people no matter what just makes life easier and it makes you a better person. It’s the personality of a person that matters the most.
