Had psoriasis forever but weathered the ups and downs.Tomorrows a different story.
Thank you James and Rosey :) Yes its been a year nearly ,seen each other twice now and keep tapping the keys lol,Well it was needed Rosey for us to have time not thinking about being worried what we eat etc , though i did think, oooh i dont eat that or this, okay give me some of that oh and a beer and vodka and coke while you are there lol. It was wonderful Thank you , James, Rosey, you both are good code breakers lol :)
James, might the stress of flying? or little sleep? Climate change?
Rosey, thank you :) We did have a fantastic time thank you and I loved being with him again. We did some sight seeing but I mostly loved seeing him *wink, wink* . I just love him to bits. I'm a lucky lady.
But anywayyyyyy, the weather was great and so was the pubs lol. It was awesome. Strange, the weather didn't affect my Psoriasis. I did itch a bit and was a bit inflamed but only because of the burgers and fries I had. Oh and the beer too. We did eat a lot of crap but we had some veggies too (I think). Thank you Rosey, it was an awesome trip, and if our plans work out, I'll be in England permanently from December. Wish us luck :) xx

My nurse today told me to see a Naturalpath even if its expensive the first time at least they can tell you what you need as we are all different--Instead of trying many creams and onitments spending lots of money on all that--spend it once on a naturalpath and find out what you need for your body. I might do that.
I can imagine what you're going through Rosey and it's not a happy day in the park at all. Without your feet you can't do your job. Psoriasis is a horrible condition. People who don't have it don't understand how physically and emotionally disabling it can be. You know, I have learned that people with psoriasis are pre-programmed to suffer in silence enough to quit our job as its a struggle everyday to perform the easiest task. You have come this far Rosey and you've been so happy, you will get better. Don't let this get you down. Stay strong and I hope you will be okay. Let us know how you are doing okay?
Hi Claire. I won't say I'm dairy free as I do drink milk in my coffee every day but other than that, I don't do dairy at all. I do have cheese sometimes too. Dairy products make me itch which is why I stay away from it. Milk doesn't really do anything but I think, If I have to drink glasses of milk every day, it will trigger my P. :)
Hi Julie .. I also have scalp P ... when it was at its worst I also coated my scalp with oil ... I currently use a mix of coconut , tea tree , olive oil & grape seed .....I path my hair & rub the oil on my scalp ... I leave it on for the day & wash out the next morning ...make sure to cover your head at night so that the oils do not go on your pillows or alternately you can wash your hair & re-apply in the morning...hope this helps ....I also wash my hair with a TAR shampoo....& I use a shampoo/ conditioner with no SULPHATE in it ....
My sympathy on the cellulitis. I had it on my left shin two years ago and the pain was so bad. Oral antibiotics never touched it so I spent a week in hospital having stronger ones administered by IV twice daily. Then, to add insult to injury, a few days after I got home, when I peed, it was like peeing red hot needles. Turns out all the strong antibiotics killed off not just the cellulitis infection, but a lot of the good bacteria we have, which gave me thrush.
After getting a little relief I am back to square one with a bad outbreak together with cellulitis and Lymphedema took blood work last week but they seem to think it is not an infection but I know it is. will try and get an emergency appt with a new Lymph Dr. tomorrow in the meantime I have to stay calm as I am having a couple of meltdowns.
