I think different things can bother different people with psoriasis. The common groups seem to include sugar, gluten, dairy, grains, nightshades... I am doing an eating plan called the Autoimmune Protocol where you eliminate all but the very least inflammatory foods until your symptoms are better, and add them back in very slowly to identify what triggers the symptoms. I've been doing this 80 days now, eating meat, fish, vegetables and fruits only. Nothing else at all. None of the things mentioned above as well as eggs, nuts, seeds, legumes (peanuts, lentils, beans, peas...), corn, wheat, rice or any grains, refined oils, spices... it is restrictive but it is meant to be temporary. That's my mantra!
Hello sue, can be with some, its not just alcahol that can set people off as we know , dairy, sugar .gluten and wheat say but, one can see a difference when cutting the booze out a bit,i am ok with lager i think, the spirits are not good though i dont drink too much of it just when i get bloated i need easier drinks to get down, i know of many here who drink a glass or 2 of wine a night and their skin got angry, its good you know that cutting back is good, not good when one has to think about being careful on the amount they consume,diet/lifestyle changes is a choice, some changes in diet/lifestyle is better than none but, it is a choice a choice for everyone :)
