...feeling okay Jack @psoriasisblob

Does beer trigger your psoriasis? Most types of beer set me off except for IPA!

i go out one night every 2 weeks jack and i know now to stick to low strength lager and nothing else, i used to drink vodkas too not now,as it would make my joints feel worse next day, i make a point of taking my bottled water and down half a litre of that before sleep and i dont feel too bad next day, drinking not good i know but, got have some life occassionaly :)

Amy @amos

i have not drank for four weeks and i'm still itching...not really seen a change...u have to have some pleasures...

paul @crick

the only thing it triggers for me ,makes me get up for a pee every two hours.

Haha, yeah I'm with you all. Need to let some steam off here and there to stay sane. I handle the harder stuff fine: vodka, whiskey, rakija (great fruit brandy from southeast Europe by th way) is all good. But beer is a whole different subject, my body really doesn't take it well.

paul, drink 2 to 3 litres water a day,i have never been to the tiolet so much and i nearly pee myself sometimes trying to make it there :) only time i used to go tiolet so much usually is when on the drink :)

Kay @nuggetsmcr

I find vodka, cocktails wine and stuff make me worser the next day , I now mostly only drink southern comfort and I find it doesn't affect me at all :D haha

good we are all experimenting with alcahol to find the good one for ones self :)

Harold @harold

My doctor says it only affects you once you've opened the bottle. I suppose that beer being alcohol based it would. It possibly also depends on how much one drinks.

john,Chewweeeeee @chewbacca

yes that true, more alcahol in the system not good, why i stopped vodka and keep to low alcahol lager when i have a bad night or good night, depends which way one looks at it :)

Chrisb @chrisb

Ha my doc said it would and I always believed it but stopped drinking for other medical reasons for 4 weeks and guess what PS is just as bad as ever

Alan @alan

I've got psoriasis and own half a brewery, can't say as I've found it making any difference, other than regular sampling helping me not give a damn about it!

Alan @alan

Luckily we mostly brew IPAs!

Dean @dean87

I'm a chef so drinking is part of the game all I can say is slap on loads of creams to counteract the flare up like I do I'm doing well so far!!

It was when a homeopathist told me to drink snake venom, because I shed skin "like a snake", that I knew I had to look at other options. Just a normal 28-year-old flaker sharing his journey on www.psoriasisblob.com
