thanks for your replys,, i havr had a problem with one ear for well quite a few years,it goes up and down, i read an article about psoriatic arthritic persons having a good chance of hearing loss more than persons with psoriasis alone.

Good morning John, my daughter also has this intermittently when does it happen to you ? The doc says it could be due to being under the weather and having recurrent bouts of cold or throats infections. She also has it when she is well and only on going to sleep and waking up. I have put this down to a energetic vibrational change that effects the ear or is interpreted as a noise. Hope this helps .

it is a difference between ears bunged up than a feeling i get, though, it could be problems with fluid on the inner ear and its always the same ear for years ,i thank you for your replys, its interesting to know,i hope you all have clear ears soon :)

Hi John. I've had progressive hearing loss over the past few years; very mild and related to aging (ha ha). I've also had intermittent short bouts of tinnitus although it now is constant. I had an audiometry test last week which showed that my left ear is worse than the right. Someone fired a 357 Magnum next to my left ear many years ago and I'm now suffering from that injury. Getting a hearing aid soon. Had an MRI of the brain as well to exclude any brain lesions. They found my brain but they can't say if it works though...but it is still there. I don't have active psoriatic arthritis as long as I sat off fizzy drinks, I don't have joint pain.

Honestly the matron didn't know what it was!! The more I read about the ignorance people on this site have been exposed to the more incredulous I am.

Hi Folks have a problem with balance, due to dead skin cells in the ears, i have to get my local hearing centre to flush my ears out the balance goes back to normal. Olive oil in the ears helps

Kim
Kim @Foody

Hi Colin, I am the same. My ears won't flush though so I have to oil them every night. It's only a 5 minute thing just to keep everything soft.

Cheryl
Cheryl @chez

I had my ear flushed out which helped but might try the oil ... thanks for the tip 😊

That my friend, is called Tinnitis... can be caused by various things, but main one I know about is plugged ears... you need to find ear drops and use them every so often... I've had it since I was a whole lot younger... cleaning with ear drops does help some of the time! And yes, I have psoriatic arthritis.

Susan
Susan @godcares

Is that a psoriasis thing? I've had issues in the past of hearing ringing. I always thought it was tinnitus... I'll have to google that. I do/did have psoriatic arthritis that started when I was around 25 years old and in HORRIBLE pain especially in my feet and as a dental assistant you never could be off your feet. I was on some major drug that I can't remember the name of back then... I had to get monthly blood work to make sure my white blood cell count was not too high... Then when it was, I would have to take another drug... Oh man.. I did that for about a year. Went I gave my head a shake I went to the rheumatologist and told him I wanted to go off and do a major cleanse (rice, pears, zucchini, peas... very little) to see what would happen and just reboot my system. His response condescendingly "Susan, I am a specialist and if that was the solution do you not think I would recommend it"... All he did was empower me to take my life back. I did the cleanse and stopped all drugs the day I started the cleanse. I was pain free within about 2 days and continued the cleanse for a month. It was not hard as I was motivated to stick with it by pain. I found out through this process that sugar, dairy were bad for me. Never did have to go back on that stupid drug again. What an arrogant ass that guy was... Just saying... If anyone wants the cleanse diet (only takes 3 weeks to a month) private message me and I'll figure out how to send it to you. I have given it to many people over the years. If you wonder why my messages are so long... I also have done medical transcriptionist so my typing speed is really fast and my brain thinks fast too... Maybe I'm ADHD... Hahahaha!
