Secrets, itch, coping

Ugh.. Had a serious itch session (if i may call it) not long ago & i m regretting it ๐Ÿ˜ฆ - Question : has anyone else found themselves scratching with the weirdest of things or is it just me? ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

I think, Courtney, that every single one of us could relate for sure... Itching almost seems to be the only solution with psoriasis, followed by regret... :)

yes, I have, a tree, a branch ,a car door mirror,a wall, a pen to my back(with lid on) a wall, against my girlfriend with my back if I cant reach the itch and theres nothing else around, I see her elbow sticking out which looks good then I go for it or just get her to scratch it with her nails and regret it later when its sore

you can sand off the scales until the skins nice and smooth and possibly bleeding, not recommended :)if it gets real lumpy, I get the chisels out haha :)

Oh my goodness John lol those are quite the itching tools you got. I have long nails to somewhat help but its never enough so i sometimes find myself using a towel or a shirt with beads on it, wrap it around my fingers & go for it like no tomorrow, but if only Im not satisfied with the itch lol, sadly I regret it every time!! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ๐Ÿ˜ง but luckily I have my cream always ready to go afterwards. Blaahhh.. P can be such a bother at times! Especially when I have an itch in public & especially with family, telling me not to scratch or slap it instead of itching.. I often look at them saying or wishing for them spend a day in my shoes & see how uncontrollably hard it is not too!! Am I right or am I right?! Lol

you are right in indeed courtney, and i know about slapping the skin instead of scratching, i have done that to, which looks a bit odd if people have seen me doing it ,though havnt done that in months now, i forgot about the corner of a radiator to,can come in handy and in each room, yes you do all the scratching then it gets all hot from all that friction specially if you are going aggressively at it ,which may give you some sort of sexual face in trying to satisfy that itch and then slap on the cold cream to cool it off, done until the next time :)

Try cetirizine hydrochloride if you have a serious itch - helps me along with diprobase or epaderm

I use a comb on my legs and I get a bit excited while scratching and go a bit deep sometimes and I bleed badly but it feels sooooo good ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

I use the bar on my kitchen chair legs to scratch the soles of my feet and then I have to get the hoover out as the flooring is black, not a good look.
