After 40 odd years of this, it still makes me cross when someone says 'I hate to tell you this but you have dandruff '.......as if it was that easy!

I know what you mean suzie, been there,,I used to psoriasisso badyears ago, I use aphosyl 2in1 and I really don't get much on my head anymore :)

what they used to say to me with all my coaltar greased back hair and all over my bodie in the 70s and early eighties as a child,i can still smell it , i can remember trying to unstick my clothes from skin yuk :)

The thing I hate the most is people dusting me 'off'. My uniform is dark blue so sometimes I look like a walking snow storm. I am mortified when someone that I barely know brushes off my shoulders thinking they are being helpful. It is plain rude.

i had that done to,my boss did it to my jacket which was dark blue, it does make you feel uncomfortable but, i shrugged it off,exscuse the punt :)

Years ago I looked for advice from the Psorasis Society after hugging a hot male friend & having to brush his jumper afterwards (so not cool or sexy) . The psorasis society web page said 'don't wear dark colours'.

I am a Nurse Practitioner in a busy hospital. I have had PA since 12 years old (so a really long time) & psoriasis since a young adult. I am at peace with my condition which although a nuisance, hard work & painful could be far worse.
