Sasha Sadly no after 25 years of 75% of my skin being scales I did not think for a second I would ever be free from the condition.

Okay, were you on any other Prescription medication or vitamins with the biologic? And what was your diet like?

CarolElaine @carolelaine

I am so happy for you!! I hate to be negative, but are you sure?? I couldn't count the times that I thought I finally found something that worked....only to discover I was just having a natural ebb of the the disease. The "ebb and flow" has made it so difficult to find a solution. I have been on a biologic for 6 months and recently changed to a new one. It helped for 1 week, but now it is worse than it ever has been. Does it get worse before it gets better? ( I am so very new to this group! I am glad I found it.)

Susan
Susan @godcares

Welcome CarolElaine to our family. We are all different on a different journey. I never did biologics and found healing for all my autoimmune diseases with diet/lifestyle/mind reset/exercise/positivity/Faith. Lots of things. We are lucky to choose.

CarolElaine
CarolElaine @carolelaine

A lot of people have talked about how diet has helped. Where do I begin??? What kind of diet?

Victor
Victor @victor

No more steroids no special diet - just an injection at home once a fortnight. Life changing folks cannot name the drug on here and apparently different biologics work differently for different people but after 25 years this is life changing. I have been seriously suicidal in the past with the extent of my psoriasis but all that negativity has been turned around and the only emotion I feel about my skin is gratitude x

Susan
Susan @godcares

CarolElaine diet isn't the quick fix. It's a process and for me, the route I chose. Honestly, I would start in January, after the Holidays, with a cleanse/reboot and if you want the one I did you can private message me. This is not the month to try to eliminate any foods. You can, however, start by living in the present moment, maybe journalling and getting things out of your head onto paper. Listen to some great, uplifting music. That's free and will help with the renewing of the mind. Diet, I am happy to share with you as well.

Sasha
Sasha @sasha15

Will you continue taking it to maintain clearance or stop and see what happens?

Victor I'm not 100% free, but I've been on biologics for 10 yrs. & have no desire to stop. The only issue I have being 100% is knees & elbows! It is the happiest I've been since 1977 :)

Steve
Steve @cartermac13

CarolElaine I have been on 3 variations of biologics since 2004 & the 1 I'm on now I've been on since 2007 & I'm not looking back, what works for me might not work for everybody.
