...feeling okay Madmum007 @madmum007

Has this happened to you?I went to my Doctor with crusty ears. Doc said, " I'll give you more steroid cream."I don't want any more steroid cream. So he said "O.K. use nappy/diaper cream with zinc in it."Has he lost his marbles? would this work??

I have crusty psoriasis ears also. I hate using topical creams on my ears and my scalp, though, because they are so greasy.

I have tried sudocrem at one point. It did provide relief, but was quite thick and didnt absorb well. Kind of rude of him, sounds like he just dismissed you when you said you didn't want steroids ๐Ÿ˜’ if you browse the theme for ears you will find some great info on what works for people here ๐Ÿ˜Š Welcome to Flaym Madmum!

Well Madmum, I guess you never know until you try it. Good for you for declining the steroid cream. If you want the diet/cleanse a bunch of us are doing, send me a private message and I'll get it to you.

Welcome to Flaym! Yes I bet it would in the sense that it is a moisturiser and barrier cream I guess!

I use equal amts of peanut oil and mineral oil and then I throw in some [...] ointment. It is kind of hard to blend in the ointment but I slosh it around as I administer it. Not very scientific but it works for me on my scalp.
