...feeling frustrated Kellie @kellieann

Looks, itch, coping

So fed up, embarrassed and feeling sorry for myself,my scalp and ears are always bad but I'm having flare up dry and split under my eyes, each side of my nose, corner of my mouth and my chin, not much skin left on my face that isn't red and sore ☹

Sorry this is happening to you. I hope it clears up soon for you. My scalp and ears are always bad too especially this time of the year. Don't stress about it too much it will only make it worse. Someone once told me that those who love you won't care about your flare ups they will just love you as you are and don't worry about the rest of them.

Go online and learn how to make water kefir. In the second ferment add ginger and turmeric juice (pineapple is good too). Get at least on ounce of turmeric juice in a 16 oz bottle and drink it twice a day, preferably with ground pepper. Consume two sixteen oz bottles daily replacing any fizzy drinks you normally consume with this. You will likely get well in three or four months. If you don't believe me, search on line about turmeric, psoriasis, curcumin and NF-kB.

What have you been using on your Skin Kellie?
Moo Goo has a range that I have found helpful.
They have an eczema and psoriasis cream in a tube for bad break outs.
For moisturising all of the skin an udder cream .
For washing the body a milky wash.
For the scalp a scalp treatment and a shampoo and conditioner .
Also a deodorant and lip balm.
They are natural and milk based.
I have tried all of these and they help me.
They are available at the chemist and online.
I hope your skin is feeling a little better soon.
I live in Australia.🌹

Hi Kellie, welcome to Flaym! It's tough with the face as the skin seems more delicate than elsewhere... I'm always reluctant using anything on my face but sometimes needs must I suppose! John will have advice for you. Another Flaym member @Line has also been posting about discomfort and symptoms on the face. Check out the themes section too for posts about "psoriasis on the face" for more info!
