Painful psoriasis on hands and feet... my dr just recently ordered a home phototherapy wand for me. Excited to try it, wondering if anyone has had success with one....

Hi Sandy, that is great that you doctor could order you that! I didn't know any doctors would endorse home kits. Any derm I've spoken to about that has advised against home light therapy ๐Ÿ˜” Welcome to Flaym!

I've done phototherapy several times and personally, I find it that it's like shoveling you know what against the tide. A month after you go off it, your psoriasis comes back with a vengeance, forcing you to do the whole process all over again making it an endless cycle. Sunlight is important, but it's only 1 element in rolling back your psoriasis.

im in envy. my doc ordered insurance wont cover any of it. hard to afford being single working mother of 3 under 5. good luck with your "magic wand"!!! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š
