Hi all. Has anyone tried mindfulness meditation for treating flares?
Please don't include specific medical product brand names or external links.

No but stress can cause flare ups ( or it does in me ) so if it helps to relax us then I would give it a try

Meditating alone will no stop you from flaring up. It needs to be a combination of things: The big 3 are diet, exercise and cutting out alcohol/tobacco/excess sugar.

Joe I have fibromyalgia, Hashimotos, psoriasis etc and find meditation quite helpful for my wellbeing . I have posted some mediation ideas the last few days on here and also one this morning. 🌺

Hi Joe, Mindfulness meditation has been really helpful with me on this journey. When I started really being in the moment I became more aware of what I was thinking and how I was feeling. It has helped me turn off the destructive thought pattern, that was present for many many years. It has truly played a big part in my healing process. Louise Hay is my biggest teacher in how to really own this present moment and fill it with a whole lotta love! :)
