Itch

My psoriasis has been really good on my scalp lately - maybe the cold weather has kept it at bay? but i fear it’s spreading to behind the ear. worried this is the start of it spreading to other places 😔

Hannah, if you can find fresh turmeric root and have or can get a juicer, then juice about an ounce of liquid every day and add it to something you drink daily, milk, nut milk, other juice, etc. Take with fresh ground pepper. This may cure you. If you want to do a lot more, go to my profile page and read through the first post and comments.

Hi Hannah, Welcome to Flaym! Its great to hear that your scalp has been doing really good lately! Try not to worry about it getting worse and try to focus on it getting better and better. One of my biggest life lessons is to think about what we want. not about what we don't want. Thinking about what we want feels so much better and those things that we want start coming our way once we start paying more attention to them :)

Hi Hannah. Welcome to Flaym. I agree with Michelle. Focus on it getting better. I don't know what shampoo you are using but unscented products are a good start for scalp P. Check what you eat as well. Unfortunately, we can't enjoy the junk food or use a nice scented shampoo but what I can say is that us Flaymers have to be the healthiest people on earth! lol. Your P will get better as long as you don't stress about it. Rather accept it and work towards getting it better. :)

T-gel shampoo is what worked best for me after trying everything, it hasn't cleared it but certainly stopped the itch and reduced the amount I have on my head

I have been using salcura shampoo and conditioner now for over a year, and can say it has really helped, I still have flare ups but with less severity, and not very often too,

Try putting coconut oil on the back of your ear?

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions, I am enjoying the fact that my psoriasis isn’t too bad right now and will definitely try out all your recommendations for when the hot weather comes back and i’ll get my flare ups - which is one of the worst things about summer for a psoriasis sufferer!

Hi Hannah, welcome to Flaym! Yesss! Celebrate the good times! 🎉🎉🎉 Hmm the spreadage isn't great but maybe try to cross that bridge when you come to it. It may not happen!
