Coping, treatment, diet
Just received the Moringa capsules I ordered from the UK. They're 500mg capsules, Pure Moringa, with no mixers or flowing agents...
Is there a time in the day that's best to take them, and any other advice welcome... Thx 😉

Hello oriath, let us know how you get on, i did do the powder form, i wanted to throw up, capsules sound a good idea, some here in the past had done those, i dont know their outcome, i hope all goes well with them :)
21 Feb 20:41
Will do John.. 😊
21 Feb 20:52
Thank you :)

Yayyy!! :D Enjoy Orlaith! I have both the powder and the capsules. When I take it in capsule form I take 2 in the morning and 2 later in the day around 4. (It does enhance energy so you may or may not want to take them before bed ;-) Lol. Moringa is also used as an aphrodisiac & a promotor of Libido..so I suppose it depends how you are spending your evening... Lol) When I have the powder I put it in a smoothie or warm tea. I noticed its benefits within 3 days. Along with all of its other amazing qualities it helped take me out of depression. I am looking forward to hearing about your experiences with Moringa! :)

I put a tbsp of powder in my smoothie but I had no idea of the benefits Michelle just discussed.

Oriaith I don't take capsules. I take pure Moringa powder in my morning shake. It's about 2 tablespoons of the ground Moringa leaf. With capsule I really don't know. Sorry. Hope it helps you.

Susan's Love for Moringa really inspired me to research the crap out of it and then to find a really good source. If you google search Moringa and then just look under images you will see different pics that talk about what the benefits are at quick glance :)
22 Feb 14:07
Thanks Michelle. Yes, for me it's the only vitamin supplement I take.
22 Feb 20:36

We're so glad you're here too Lindakay1948! No one has to go through this alone. What a tough road it can be. But we're all on that road, waving to each other along the way!

Happy you found our family too Lindakay. Blessings to you on this awesome adventure!
23 Feb 04:40
Awww Lindakay, it is a blessing having you join Flaym as well! It really changes the whole dynamic of living with this condition having each other to share our ups in downs. My wish is that no one ever have to live alone with psoriasis again :)
25 Feb 04:45
Hi Orlaith, How is the Moringa going for you? :)
25 Feb 08:00
i may get some moringa capsules,be easier for me to stomach it, should be helpful i hope with diet/lifestyle changes and hopefully some sun on the way soon :)
25 Feb 13:09
john capsules are mostly filler but even a little is better than none. I add my powder to my morning shake. I have some pods I planted the other day so we'll see if I can get a small plant going. Would be cool, although I wouldn't give up the powder I buy. I'd probably have to go out and buy a bunch of vitamins and vitamins here are very expensive.
25 Feb 13:24
i see thanks susan, they are not cheap though in capsule form if you get the good stuff i know, i will sell some things ion ebay and then buy it on ebay :)
25 Feb 14:28
I think if you find a good source of Moringa John, they will be okay. Unfortunately there are companies who are shady and will do anything for more money. Good news is, there are honest companies out there as well. Just a matter of researching the company. I get mine from a Canadian based company, They have raw organic Moringa and follow the best drying procedures.
25 Feb 14:31
Indeed michelle, i know what you mean, if the feedback is great on ebay then i will buy it, if its bad with feedback then no way, thank you :)
25 Feb 14:34
Good Luck John! I prefer the raw powder myself, but got the capsules with a promotion. I even opened up a capsule to compared it to the raw powder, just to see and they both look and feel exaxtly the same :)
25 Feb 15:34
Good investigation skills, Michelle!

Has anyone had a bad reaction to the Moringa. I've had severe stomach cramps and diarrhoea the last couple of days, unless it's a stomach bug, just wondering..... 😲
25 Feb 18:35
Oh no, sorry to hear that Orlaith. 😔 I have not experienced that. It may be worth stopping them to see if there is a difference and once you feel better try again to see? Feel better soon!

I just did some searching and found this, though I'd share.
During the 1st days of taking Moringa, you may experience nausea or flu-like symptoms. This is because Moringa will break down fats in the body by releasing antioxidants, antipathogens, detoxifiers, and chlorophyll to the bloodstream. Dormant toxins will react defensively to these new substances as if it’s under attack.
Just continue taking it. The body will adapt to Moringa slowly. It will gradually show its great and beneficial effects.
How many are you taking a day? Perhaps lessen it a bit while your body gets used to it. I also read Moringa shouldn't be taken on an empty stomach--I did not know this..I often take it with an empty stomach :s
25 Feb 19:47
Thanks Michelle, I was taking it after breakfast, and I was only taking one 500mg capsule.....I've stayed off it a few days, OK today, might start again in a day or two and see how it goes x
26 Feb 00:53
Orlaith I never did but the Moringa I take is pretty unique in where it is grown and how it is dried. We can grow it in Canada but it's not the greatest soil and most places dry it in the sun which removes alot of the nutrients. One thing that Moringa is really good for is lossening the stools. Michelle is right. There is a bit of a detoxing thing. I never had that but I have heard of it.
26 Feb 02:28
Ohh I wish we could grow Moringa trees in Canada, Susan! lol Did you try to plant the seeds?
