Itch, treatment, diet

Is there a connection between ear psoriasis and getting Vertigo. I flew to my holiday place and within 2 days had a Vertigo attack. Luckily with medication it was gone in 2 days as well

The doc here on holiday wanted to know if I was a deep sea diver as my ears were trauma ears. As I'm not a deep see diver I wonder what caused my trauma. Now that the dizziness is gone I'm left with extremely itchy ears so I'm moisturizing like mad

Hi Bev. I had 'trauma' ears 30 years ago after I flew to Australia. A flight that took 40 hours and too much landing and taking off! They seem ok now but am dreading my holiday next month. Too much flying to see my kids and grandkids.... And yes I have p in my ears. So annoying at times.

I am not sure Bev, but it does make sense that it could be a possibility. Is vertigo common for you? I am glad it didn't last much longer for you!

Hi Jen The doc said when I fly I must chew chewing gum or suck boiled sweets on take off and landing. And equalise my ears after by holding my nose closed and blowing gently. Michelle I have had it a few times after flying. Hopefully when we got back on Monday I don't get another attack

Thanks Bev yep I have to do all that on landing. use plugs in ears too. sometimes works sometimes doesnt. sometimes the pain is excruciating and i will have vertigo for a week after. have to use eardrops and nose spray. Such a bugger but what do you do?

Jen he also said to take two decongestant tablets an hour before I fly. I think I best make a spread sheet to remember it all lol

That's actually a good idea Bev. I will get me some. Thanks so much and I hope you will be good when you get back!

I believe so. I have had the same experience, and now I find I also get seasick... something I never experienced before getting psoriasis in the ears
