As many of you know I drastically changed my diet 10 months ago and improved my mental and physical health, weight, psoriasis & arthritis... drumroll please... I going to indulge in a little organic SALSA!!!!! Hip hip hooray.... will let you know if I have any adverse reactions. Tomatoes and peppers are on the “avoid” list but I will limit myself to 1/4 cup. I can already taste it!

Good Luck Shawn & Enjoy!! This past week I have reintroduced tomatoes. One of my biggest triggers. I had it 4x and my skin has not reacted to it ☺ Looking forward to hearing how it goes for you!

good luck shawn, i do let my hair down now quite often and my skin hasnt changed hardly at all that i can notice so, the odd baddies is ok i find, just think winter dosnt like me at all more than anything, nearly spring here ,good to know what happens if anything does? thanks :)

Day 2 - had some more salsa as a treat - I’m still living. No adverse effects thus far. Trying not to overdue it! And by the way it was so delishes. It’s funny to think that with all the foods I eliminated 10 months ago... I don’t care about or crave sugar, alcohol, or dairy. Salsa on the otherhand, tangy, savory, slightly hot, salty and sweet - served with protein enriched organic chips - Yum Yum Yum!!!

Great Shawn! I find when trying reintroductions I have to wait at least 48 hours or more for any symptoms to show. Sometimes I think I'm out of the woods and then I'm not... I may be trying a reintro of edible pod legumes in the next few days so we'll see. Green beans, peas, mangetout, sugar snaps. Hope they'll go ok!

Good for you Shawn. I actually don't really think you will have any adverse reaction. I have great gut health and diet too so now nothing affects me. You were diligent and now experimenting so that's a good thing. Heck, I love salsa. Peppers too (not green). I sometimes make a great hot pepper jelly at Christmas. Spread that on a cracker with cream cheese. OMG! Dairy and bread stuff is not my norm anymore, but still, because it's been healthy living for so long, nothing happens. Good for you. It takes time to get the gut health back to a normalcy and you did it!

Vit d3, calcium as i dont do dairy,multi vitamins, i put powdered moringa in my homemade turmeric curries i do now , turmeric is a great ant inflammatory,just eat a psoriatic diet :)

Hi Elaine, I take a probiotic, omega 3 with high epa, Moringa as well as apple cider vinegar mixed with lemon as a type of tea 😊

I sure appreciate the suggestions, John & Michelle!! Thank you :) It's such an amazing thing, after almost 10 years, to find others who have P and not feel ALONE anymore!!! You know, I was reading that supposedly the Ketogenic diet was supposed to be good for people with P. However, Keto also has you eating dairy & other things that people are allergic to. Obviously, you would not eat those, but has anyone on here done a Keto (abbrev.) diet??

I understand that completely Elaine. Was 24 years for me feeling alone with p. I think many of us have felt so alone with it because it is more than just a skin disorder, it goes much deeper and then tend to keep so much to ourselves. Just so so nice having y'all here ❤
I am interested in keto too Elaine, but have felt the same about dairy and other things that may not be good.. but could avoid those things. 😊

Elaine if you are interested in name brands I’ll private message you however here are the supplements I have added - a good multivitamin, a good probiotic 30 billion 24 strains, a good omega 3... 1120mg (the reason I say “good” is because they are not all created equally - 5000 IU of vitamin D3, magnesium, calcium only once a week, biotin, liquid b12... I take b12 daily and get a b12 shot weekly, potassium, and last but not least turmeric curcumin with bioperine 1160 mg per serving, water and lots of it with apple cider vinegar

Thats quite the list Shawn. LOL... I'd be broke here in BC... Vitamins are pretty costly unless I go cheap out. My Moringa is all I take but my boyfriend and I have been using Tumeric on pretty much everything. Not sure if I notice anything different but I guess it has to do with the years of healthy living and eating. Also, zero stress. Honestly, no stress has brought me to a level of healing in the depths of my soul... I guess 56 is my prime... Hahahaha
