...feeling okay Diane @froghop26

Coping, treatment

I have been told I must have an influenza injection as I am on an immune suppressant. I have never had one before as I have reactions to vaccinations. Vaccination = no flu but possible reaction. No vaccination = possible influenza. No win situation.

Hi Diane. I have never had a flu shot in my life but a lot of people in SA have complained about getting worst after the flu shots.

IDA @ida1

Look up the ingredients before taking this shot..everyone I know caught the flu anyway after the shot..

I have been drinking a supplement throughout the year. I can't name it on here but I'm sure everyone must know of it. It provides nutritional support of the immune system in order to reduce the risk of a cold or flu infection and reduce the duration and severity of a cold or flu infection. I have been drinking it for years and It does help. I sometimes get a cold but since I have been drinking it for 5 years, I never got bronchitis again.

Diane do your research... If I could go back I would never give even vaccines. The Millennials here in Canada are not injecting anything now into the bodies of their babes. My friend never vaccinated either of her kids and they are now in their 30's and 40's. The flu vaccine is also loaded with chemicals. So I guess it's a personal choice. I don't get the flu shot.

I am right there with you something I also tried but didn't work immune suppressants...please just take the shot..you get sick easier on immune suppressant therapies there are more than one..so get the shot you will hate yourself if you happen to get ill and it can be life threatening...and frankly I want you here I am so so selfish that way :)

Sarah @sarahuk

I gave my children vaccinations and myself too whilst pregnant. I guess for me mainly because vaccinations don't work if lots of people don't do them... but I respect personal choice with this like anything else. I had the winter flu vaccine whilst pregnant on the advice of the NHS and my midwives.

Riola @riola

I have had a flu jab for the past 5 years and never had any bad symptoms from it, apart from you arm is a bit sore for a day or two :))
