Secrets

Anyone have tips on best ways to clean flakes from the house? Think I'm in spring clean mode... washed just about every fabric in my house this weekend. Sometimes find the flakes hard to capture though, think they are more pesky than regular dust! โ‡๏ธ

Yep vac is the best ..I have a pet attachment as I have cats I use it on my sofas and bed ... think I'm shedding more than them ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ‰ . I must vac up to 4 times a day ...drives me nuts ...I think sometimes I'm just shedding flakes behind me as I'm vaccing in front of me ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I could just tuck my socks into my pants and collect the flakes once a day ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

I find that some of the flakes are so fine, I need to sweep them up with a magnetic broom, then vacuum it up, plus go over the same area with my Dyson.

lint brushes (the sticky kind) help me get the stubborn areas :)

Lint brushes are a great idea... and I hoover the flakes too when I have flare ups. The troublesome spot to clean in my house is the cracks of my sofa... the hoover scratches lines down the leather! So I brush off onto the floor and hoover that. But the lint brushes may be good for sofas... Great tips everyone thank you

Maybe try one of those sticky rollers for furniture Sarah. I use them at one of the cleaning homes I clean. 2 very hairy dogs and that hair get's in the furniture. Works like a charm.
