Coping, diet

My expected flare after some stress has happened. My left foot and oddly, around my nose. Still on my anti inflammatory diet which I think has helped stop the flare being much worse.

Lemon ๐Ÿ‹ can make flare ups subside.

I have to agree with Clint! My lemon experiment showed that lemon works. After testing both elbows for more than a week (rubbing lemon on left and using aloe vera on right), the left elbow was significantly better. Iโ€™m now rubbing lemon on both!

This morning my scalp was itchy (so hard to get rid of p there) so I rubbed lemon on it and the itchiness subsided. Iโ€™m going to continue with the lemon twice a day on my scalp.

Ah no Diane, I know you did think this might happen, but doesn't make it any easier to deal with! Glad it isn't as severe as it once might have been though. There's a lot to be said for anything that can dampen down the impact of a flare up.

Until recently I've never thought about stress having an effect on my P or PA. I thought it was just down to my auto immune system . I rarely get stressed about life these days the only thing that does stress me out is my scabby flakey itchy skin ... ๐Ÿ˜•

I love animals, traveling, my children and my grandchildren. My psoriasis is an inconvenience, it doesn't define me or stop me living my life how I want. Live, laugh, love :)
