Hi El . I had it on both hands too very painful πŸ˜• unfortunately the only thing that worked was light treatment . It cleared up after 32 sessions . My hands now only have a few plaques but it cleared up for 2 yrs ...

Hi El. I sometimes get it on my hands all over. Splitting and cracking very painful. What I find works is thick creams and oils many times a day. Put cotton gloves on. Sometimes plastic household gloves. I had it 4 weeks ago and now all clear and beautiful. Like magic. I continue to rub lemon into my hands.

I had to soak my hands before the treatment ..don't know what it was though ...after the light therapy my hands were extremely dry and sore . I didn't see any improvement until 3/4 way through my whole treatment .
I have it in patients he's over my body now .. I'm trying all sorts to get it under control . What sort of light do you use ... I've been very tempted to go to a sunbed lately ...I know there are harmful but so is light treatment. 😊 hope you find something that helps ...I'd stick with your light for longer 😊

Catherine ... It's the same lamp they would use in a hospital but smaller ....Not the lights you would get in a Tanning shop ... I will stick with it for a few weeks and see if it inprove's :)

Hi El, Best of luck with your lamp and lemons! I hope it can be helpful and you have relief soon! Welcome to Flaym!

Welcome to Flaym, El! I've heard that people get some great results from using cotton or latex gloves with the fingertips cut off. They put on their ointment or moisturiser and then put on the gloves, and it allow the stuff to soak in to the hands whilst protecting them, and the greasiness doesn't affect whatever they are doing whilst the gloves are on. Hope this helps! Check out the themes section for collected posts about psoriasis on the hands!

Just makes me think back to when i used to go night clubbing and they would have the blue lights evrywhere, all the cream on my face would come up with all white patches, it gave quite a few laughs,i had to explain to friends at that time that was was my cream for my skin :)
