Already not eating all that food. I told you, my diet is so boring. I live in the wrong era. lol. There's nothing I like to even snack on. Apart from veggies and I'm sorry, I don't snack on a carrot.

Chris
Chris @Chris70

Does flayme not have a translate opp ?

Sarah
Sarah @sarahuk

I just snacked on a carrot Michelle 😋

Michelle
Michelle @michelle1021

hahahaha Sarah. I'm afraid I can't share the love. I would rather snack on a burger pie. Haven't had one in aaaaaaages. Ok so I don't eat nuts. I don't eat any kind of biscuits, sweets, chockies, ice cream and I don't do veggies as a snack. Do you have any other suggestions on what I could snack on? I do get hungry. Like now.

Sarah
Sarah @sarahuk

Apart from carrots, I snack on plaintain chips, root vegetable chips, date balls (I make these with shredded coconut, minced dates, cinnamon and coconut oil all minced up and shaped into balls, refrigerated). I had a week or so of trialling reintroduction of nuts, but it didn't go well. During that time I also had nut butter on apple or carrot slices, a handful of nuts or shop-bought "pale-o bars" with dates and macadamia. So much easier to snack on shop bought stuff! But I had a flare so I stopped the nuts for a while and will try them again another time to check if it was actually the nuts that brought on the flare.

Michelle
Michelle @michelle1021

Thanx Sarah. I eat plaintain chips with my muesli in the morning but like 3 only. The root veggies sounds very nice. I will have to try it. Unfortunately, I can't eat the dates or any nuts. I love fruit but I can't get it into my body. I love bananas and that does nothing to my P. But I don't eat a lot of bananas as well. I love the muesli bars but I think I will gain a lot of weight when having more than 2 a day. 😬

Susan
Susan @godcares

Amen to that John... What's interesting is I know don't even care for that crap. Also I tend to think of how I will feel after eating anything like this list. It's a choice for sure. My obese friend here is doing a detox of sugar and said yesterday that she is starting to read labels and is surprised that pretty much everything has sugar. No sh-t! LOL. Been really into BBQ's lately. My boyfriend made amazing pork loin steaks with only cinnamon. No salt or pepper either. Holy cow! Yum. That and fresh steamed asparagus and salad with olive oil... Plain, simple and definitely on the autoimmune protocol diet that Sarah chats about. Any left over's and we put it in a bowl and that is our snack... LOL.

 john,Chewweeeeee
john,Chewweeeeee @chewbacca

sounds good Susan, i actually gave up pork over a year ago, i would have it if i was on a bad or good night ,depends how one looks at it ?i have beef on my night off as i always do,Yes its all full of sugar in packets aswell as salt additives, stabilizers,a few baddies now and again i find is okay for me , glad your friend is going on the right road Susan :) Michelle and Sarah, i apparently eat Bunny foods so what can i do?It is easy to buy packet foods and is cheap i find,i spend a lot of money a month to eat all fresh veggies ,fruit and nuts aswell as chicken, my diet is boring too but, im am used to it and thats okay :)

Ruben
Ruben @ruben

Hey Susan, cinnamon is a great spice, helps the body to absorb sugar in a better way (dunno how it works) I have been using a lot more cinnamon than a year ago :)

Susan
Susan @godcares

Ruben that's what my boyfriend said. That and tumeric. I never was big on cinnamon because I don't bake much sugar stuff so this was all new to me. So yummy. Now I'm a bit hooked. He actually just told me that he put both tumeric and cinnamon on them. Hah... I didn't even know. All I know is it is delicious...

Ruben
Ruben @ruben

So next combination: cinnamon, tumeric, black pepper, moringa and lemon :D

It’s annoying because I have problems with my eating junk food is like my life 😂

 john,Chewweeeeee
john,Chewweeeeee @chewbacca

Oh Dear Sienna D, i eliminated certain foods gradually over time over a year ago now , i was a chocoholic, sugar in everything, all dairy i was eating, sandwiches, potatoes, processed meats, fried foods that was me for years and i still had vegetables with my currys etc i dont know how i did it,i still have treats for sure and eat junk for one night only and drink beer and vodka and cokes one night every week, unfortunately junk foods is in most people lives, cancer causing foods as well as making auto immune problems worse,i understand it is hard to change but my way of thinking is, if i can do it anyone can as i never thought i would change, i lost a lot of unwanted weight, my arthritis is miles better nails look good and less flaking as i was over a year ago, diet/lifestyle changes is a choice SiennaD,some changes i diet/lifestyle is better than none but, it is a choice a choice for everyone, i wish you well

Sarah
Sarah @sarahuk

Sounds so delicious Susan and yes definitely Autoimmune Protocol compliant! I do eat all meats, but I focus more on white meat and fish than red meat. It just sits better with me I think. I don't eat smoked meats or fish much anymore as I'm cutting down histamine foods. I do love smoked sustainable fish! Oh no Michelle, maybe you could bake vegetable fries for your snacks that you could have with dips? Carrots, parsnips, sweet potato...

 john,Chewweeeeee
john,Chewweeeeee @chewbacca

Me love parsnips with butternut squash roasted with garlic and ginger yum yum :)

John, I recently went for food intolerance testing. Intolerant to milk, potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms and e numbers. Also have a massive yeast infection. Have eliminated all these things from my diet 3 weeks ago. Have lost 7lbs without trying and have become very adventurous with herbs n spices, etc. Not a single forbidden item has passed my lips! Also drink gallons of water a day now. Hopefully it won't be too long til I notice a change in my skin

 john,Chewweeeeee
john,Chewweeeeee @chewbacca

Helen
Helen @Hellzbellz100

Thanks John, I was due to start biologics but my daughter persuaded me to go for the intolerance food testing. I am so glad that I did. Going to stall the biologics for a few months while I try this new foodplan. Thanks for your own positive comments about diet, they have certainly encouraged me to keep going.

Shawn

 john,Chewweeeeee
john,Chewweeeeee @chewbacca
