The stage you in right now each day seems like a week. But as your children get older it does get better. Of course if you like me and look after your grandchildren it's starts all over again lol

It is so hard to find time to ourselves when our children are small. As moms we do so much for everyone else we often forget about ourselves. It does get easier as they gey older. Until then would it be possible to try and have an day or evening every week dedicated to you, with the help of family or friends? I think it is essential to our well being, especially when p is involved. Hope you can find some downtime Natalie!

Oh yep. This. Can you try to change something up in your kids routines? I've been doing this recently as I was feeling a bit "samey" about how the weeks kind of resemble each other too much sometimes. So last week we went to the ice cream parlour for an afternoon there on the park. This week, we went up to an old stately home and played in the wooden playground there for an afternoon. Next week, we're going to to go to a soft play place where they can have dinner, and I don't have to cook for them! I'm doing this recently as I felt like we should do more of what we all enjoy. I'm also trying to have one night a week with no TV or devices (this is for me, when my kids are in bed). I am trying to use it to make myself read the newspaper or a magazine, do a Headspace meditation, call my family from whom I live apart. So that not all my evenings fly by and feel rushed! It is totally a hamster wheel with young children, as you describe!

natalie just a season of life. Anyone with kids has been there. I suggest embrace it, even the bad days. They pass and when you get older you laugh at yourself and talk often with other's saying "How the Hell did we do that!" That break will come soon enough. It would be nice though to have a nanny to do all the shit around the house though. Even for a few days every month. Being on your own doing this is tough.
Kristina Kuzmic has a bunch of hilarious mom video's. My friends and I have watched many and boy, can we relate. She was single with kids for a long time and quite broke but did some fun things. She now is kind of a comedian I guess. Might lift your spirits.
