...feeling frustrated Diane @froghop26

Looks, coping, treatment

My poor hands. They burn from the inside and look like I am 107, very wrinkled where the P is, regardless of how much I moisturize. Apart from lemon, which I am about go and rub on all the spots, what moisturizing lotion do you recommend?

Hi Diane, on your hands you can try something with urea in it.

IDA @ida1

I have used coconut oil and also used paraffin baths a little machine I bought at a local drug store very cheap where it comes with gloves and it melts down the paraffin and you dip your hands..look it up on youtube..good luck on finding something good....

Try an olive oil based lotion or just straight olive oil. It must be extra virgin or it won't work as well.

I use childs farm moisturiser, though it does soak in after a while,if mine was bad, olive oil maybe the way forward to make it comfortable

Hi Diane, I also find oils to be best on my hands. Almond oil is currently my favourite. It is not too greasy and absorbs quite nice. Renew skin cream from Meleluca has always been a favourite of mine, although I have not used it in quite a while. Have you ever tried Aveeno? Hope you can find something helpful soon!

Lemon 🍋 heals and revives your skin without moisturizer

So far I only found Aveeno intense relief cream,,but I haven`t tried all of them...I feel for you and your hands because my hands are terrible too..but on the outside--when I keep rubbing lemon on it that seems to help also. I hope you can find some relief.

Ah no Diane, and hands are so visible aren't they. Very exposed. I use Aveeno Cream on my hands, it's the thickest I've found.

Shawn @EatOrganic

Organic coconut oil

Hi Diane. Your hands sound quite dry and inflamed. I'm so sorry about that. Wonderful advice you got from everyone. Why don't you mix the coconut/olive oil with childs farm moisturizer? The moisturizer will soak into your hands but the oil will keep a layer on top. That layer will prevent your hands from going dry. If possible apply every 2 hours or if you wish, every hour. See how that goes and I wish you luck.

Michelle @michelle1021

@Sarah. I bought Aveeno cream and it's a very thick dry cream. You know what I mean? Is this the same moisturizer you're using?

Sarah @sarahuk

Yes sounds similar Michelle, thought can't be sure. Mine comes in a pump spray.

Michelle @michelle1021

oeh. Okay then. I will look for the spray. Thank you.

Awww Diane... I'm a big fan of aloe vera. Maybe give that a shot if you haven't yet.

i don’t know where to find lemon products for my hands

Clint @NJClint

We are using a real lemon 🍋 it has an amazing effect just rub it on leave on until you wash up

Michelle @michelle1021

Margaret, I'm using lemons from the shop and I use the pure lemon juice when I run out of lemons. Either way, it works for me. Good luck!
