Coping

My husband is unwell again + my daughter and grandchildren had to leave their home due to partner issues + report writing time = my head being about to explode and a flare starting. I don't even think my special diet and medication will help.

Sorry to hear this Diane, they say problems come in 2s or 3s, i find that true in a lot of cases, i hope things will get better for you,

Hi Diane. I hope your husband get better soon. Where your daughter and grandchildren are concerned, maybe it's a good thing for them to leave. Start over. It will be a lot on your plate as well, but what I've seen is that you are a strong woman and by writing your report will take your mind off of the other problems for the time being. Concentrate on yourself first and do not let your P get to you. Stay calm, positive and focus on what you need to do first. Try to keep your diet as it is although it's going to be hard. Keep the changes you have made for yourself to get better. Remember, you have to look after yourself first before you can help another. This is how you will get stronger. Good luck. I know you can get through this. xx

so sorry to hear about your stress. I always get flare-ups when it happens to me. I found Ashawanga from True Nutrients to be a natural calmer I ordered mine from Amazon and if the weather is good try and take your hubby out of the house to a park or a movie anywhere to get your mind off your stress. good luck to you .

Oh Diane, that's quite a combo of very sad things. I really hope you can manage to overcome them one by one. When I get hit with times like this when there are combos of stuff to deal with I have to remind myself quite clearly to break stuff down, to avoid "overwhelm" mode. Your skin may be more resilient than you think... with your positive changes you may find that your flares subside quicker than you expect...

Be sure to take care of yourself!!!!! Take a long walk by yourself daily - listen to calming or uplifting music (headphones).

Sorry to hear that Diane, that is a lot coming at you at once. As Shawn mentions, don't forget to take care of you. Give yourself time to rest your mind and body, you deserve it!! I hope things settle down for you and hope your husband is feeling better soon!

So, so sorry to hear this Diane, you are quite right, all the hard work we have put in to get our skin calm and along comes stress and bang you are back to square one. I have recently gone through this myself with my husband for six months and my skin has never been so bad but I do know that now my situation is calming down so will my skin. Take care of yourself like Shawn says, easier said than done though I know. xx

I have also been using apple cider vinegar on my elbows and then a moisturizer of Hemp oil cream slow moving but it is helping. I find everyone is different I also switch over to Tree Tea oil and try to keep calm withAshawanga from Truth Nutrients on amazon . I am now also dealing with breast cancer and avoiding radiation .chemo. at 84 am not looking for more pain. Have started to use Essaic tea and some naturals stuff. Just one day at a time in the meantime keep busy and enjoy the outside.

Hi Diane, how are you doing? I hope everything is better at home now? How did the report writing go? Your husband? Is he better now? How did the kids settle in? Sorry for all the questions, just want to find out how you are doing and if your P is kind to you. Have a great day and I wish you everything of the best.

IDA, I Love Love Love that you are drinking Essiac Tea! My husband and I make it. His grandmother had personal connections with Rene Caisse. We have see miracles happen. Are you making your own tea?

IDA
IDA @ida1

No,I order the teabags and put a double bag in my large cup. How wonderful to hear that your family had connections with Rene Caisse. I am feeling good with this tea but I also take other things but it does help.

IDA
IDA @ida1

I decided to buy the tea not in the teabag as it would be stronger I think.

Thats famtastic IDA. When I first met my husband he told me he had the cure for cancer and I just chuckled.. not knowing then what he meant. We have been making it for 10 years. Do you live in Canada?

Mishlyn
Mishlyn @mishlyn

How are you doing Diane? I hope your husband is doing better, x

IDA
IDA @ida1

I live in Miami Florida but next time my daughter's in-laws come down I will make sure they bring some of the tea as they live in Canada. There are so many good things to help with so many of these ailments that are natural and I am trying them all with good results.

Mishlyn
Mishlyn @mishlyn

So good to hear IDA, if they live in Ontario, there is a town called Bracebridge (where Rene had her cancer clinic) at the health food store they sell the 4 organic herbs that are pre measured for essiac, along with directions & rexipe for essiac, for $34. It goes a long way! Could last up to 8 months :) Id like to try the same herbs in a salve one day 😊

IDA
IDA @ida1

Is there an address that I can order the 4 herbs plus the tea. I just received some tea from here I guess they are not as strong I will have to ask where they live. thanks for your help.
