Sorry to hear that Patty. I hope you're feeling better soon! Is your dr sending you to a derm? They should be able to find something helpful. Have you tried oil soaks on your scalp? Almond oil mixed with Lavender and tea tree oil is a great combo for me.

Hi Patty. Hope you feel better soon. I used to use Dove and it did flare up my P. Its suppose to be a moisturizer but to me it was something straight out of hell. Try the oil soaks as per Michelle and I hope it works for you. Good luck.

Hi Patty, I hope it feels better soon. I use an all organic shampoo and I add tea tree oil drops and rosemary essential oil to the shampoo and my scalp psoriasis is virtually gone for the first time in over 20 years. I also use coal tar shampoo once in awhile.

Hey Patty! I can totally relate to this. At times my scalp gets so tight and itchy and flaky and peely and burny and cracky... it is so horrible and distracting. I can understand the need to take something for it. I can't use Dove anything, the scent sets my skin off worse than I I use nothing. What I find most soothing is using Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion on the scalp as it is light and absorbs well and is instant relief from the dryness and itch! I put it on a few times a day when my scalp is bad. My scalp has actually been much better this year since I started doing oil soaks on it (I use grapeseed oil). I just let it soak in for a few hours before washing my hair then wash off using my standard (unmedicated) shampoo. This gives me major relief too. I'd recommend it massively if you don't already do similar.

Diana @diana6

Hi Patty, sorry to hear you're feeling so bad. I see you're from California, have you tried CBDs for your anxiety? They made the world of difference to me and I believe that is what's help my psoriasis, is not being so stressed. I've been using them for about 8 months now.
