Sorry to hear that Belinda. Have you ever tried oil on your scalp? It may be able to help sooth it enough to get a good nights sleep. When mine gets bad I like to soak it overnight. Coconut oil has always been a big help for me, but I have found almond oil and am loving it too. Have a browse in the themes section for scalp and you will find some helpful posts :) Welcome to Flaym!

Hey Belinda, you've joined the Flaym ranks! Welcome! Me too I have it there, well all over my scalp and ears actually. It is so itchy and dry and tight and flaky and very very distracting isn't it. My scalp is the very best it has ever been in 21 years this year. Previously it was peeling, cracking, really nasty stuff. But now, I do get tightness and itch but not really any flaking (well very little very infrequently). I started using oil to soak my scalp regularly instead of using medicated shampoo (I now just use oil and regular shampoo to wash it off). Do check out the scalp section of the themes part of Flaym on the top bar. It is awesome! If you haven't tried oil before, slather some on for a couple of hours whilst browsing the scalp section of Flaym, that is a great combo for instant relief, and long term ideas! 👊

When I use coconut oil I buy mine at Aldi, it is Extra Virgin Cold Pressed, but still only £2.20 or something like that. It is good for me! Although I pretty much only use it in cooking at the moment. I used to use it on my scalp when I was pregnant and trying natural approaches.
