Oh you lucky girl. Pool, food, WINE, no FLARES. You have it all! I'm glad you're enjoying your time away eva, it's obviously doing you good. Depression and hair loss goes hand in hand and they love each other but we need to stop this ridiculous relationship. Make sure you drink 6-8 glasses of water. Don't drink too much alcohol as it reduces hair growth. I found out that Drinking alcohol reduces hair growth smoking cigarettes reduces the blood flow to the scalp. 😳. This was sad and good news to me as now I need to stop right? I struggled with my hair for years. I was brittle and it did not want to grow and it was very thin, so I started using horse shampoo. You might know it? Mane 'n Tale. Where my hair used to grow about 1cm a month, It shot up to 2cm in one month! I'm not lying to you. I was so amazed that I kept on using it for 2 months. Some people's hair grow 3-4cm a month naturally. I stopped it for about just more than 2 weeks as I got spots on my scalp due to the wrong conditioner. The spots are gone now but I'm just preventing another breakout. I will start using the horse shampoo start of next month. It really worked for me and my hair loss and I can recommend it to anyone. Your hair might grow faster than mine but I'm happy with the 2cm. Even if it grows 1.5cm I'd be happy! lol. It also thickens the hair. Don't get depressed about your hair, rather look at what's causing this stress and try deal with that. I know that by having Psoriasis, we don't need hair loss as well right? We still want to look stunning although we have P, so tackle one problem at a time and see where it goes. Shout if you need help with anything and don't drink too much wine. We are going to start fixing your hair! Oh and get yourself some coconut oil/aloe vera (Aloe helps to get rid of dandruff and itchy scalp and promotes hairgrowth). Sorry, I'm talking a lot right now but when I was a child, some people washed their hair with local beer to promote hair growth. It also gives a beautiful shine to the hair.

Glad you had a great time Eva! Sorry about your hair loss :( Is it a lot coming out at once or over time? I have been diving into the world of essential oils, they are helping me in more ways than one. Rosemary is one of the best oils for enhancing hair growth, which thickens the hair. Rosemary oil is believed to increase cellular metabolism that stimulates hair growth. Cedarwood essential oil can help stimulate the hair follicles by increasing circulation to the scalp.

Hope you can find something helpful soon Eva, also perhaps see what your dr has to say. x

I heard that Cedarwood is good Michelle but I have never tried it. Apparently it has an 'old oak wood' smell. Love it.

I haven't tried it either Michelle, but have also seen really good reviews on it. The benefits of essential oils is so vast. I use them in salves and oil mixtures for my skin. For anxiety & migraines. I made a mixture for my husband and his asthma. He now has replaced it with his inhaler! I also made a mixture that has beat his snoring! 🤣 lol ❤❤

What a relief for you Eva that your skin survived your holiday away! It sounds like a really brilliant time. Good for you, that bit of relaxation may carry you through the next few weeks whilst you think about your hair loss dilemma. If it helps at all, the small hair loss I have had from scalp psoriasis has grown back when the plaques have cleared. I hope that is some reassurance!

Hi Eva, glad you had a great time... how could you not in Vegas! I’ve read that aloe Vera can stimulate hair growth 😄

Cherryl

Aloe Vera : Aloe vera contains proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair.19 Jan 2017
