I can't add anything more to what John has said apart from drinking my turmeric every morning. :)

Thanks Michelle, this can be done, slow elimination is key to success ,how i did it and now i can let my hair loose now and again and i am okay :)but not too often though :)

Exactly John and the same with me. Because of my diet (caveman) I also cheat sometimes as you know and it does nothing to my P or arthritis. Apart from that lamb stew of course. It's nice to know that we can still enjoy life even when we have this diet to concentrate on. It's a lifestyle change so I don't suffer.

yes,its a part of ones life once they get used to it ay Michelle :),yes it is a Caveman diet :)It works fantastic on my joints, cant complain either, i dont regard it as cheating as all the hard work has been done, when i go camping, i am going to drink like a fish, water and beer,I will eat burgers and crap, though i will take good food and you know after last time on my 3 day drinking binge and eating rubbish, i was okay and then going back to a psoriatic diet/lifestyle :),years of inflammation causes damage from eating toxic foods, psoriasis is from within and not from the skin, the skin is the end result,i know i wont clear it but some improvement is better than no improvement no matter how little ,Diet/lifestyle changes is a choice, some changes in diet/lifestyle is better than none but, it is a choice a choice for everyone :)

True John. I like my diet too, but I miss macaroni and cheese. Will have it this week though.

Great to see you back Airene! For me, I think any diet that reduces starchy foods like grains and difficult to digest foods like gluten and dairy is good. It really depends what kind of diet you are starting from! I am doing a long process of going right down to very basic foods and then slowly reintroducing stuff to see what my skin reacts to. This is the way I will "build" my own diet for the future...

Well Michelle, you can have this now and again its okay ? i am not drawn to dairy anymore, so i rarely have it,i may have a burger when out and if it comes with cheese then fine but, i am happy without it, i used to love cheddar, i used to eat that a lot melted on toast or cheese and tomatoe sandwiches and milk in my tea,how i have changed since a year and half ago :)

Oh I miss cheese on toast. I used to put raw onion topped with cheese on it and melted it in the oven but haven had it in months. Delicious.

Hello Airene. Do you use turmeric in your cooking? I think living in the Philippines you have easy access to turmeric root. It's so good for your body. You can search the themes section here for uses of turmeric.

This may sound odd, even tho I mentioned it in another post. The only item I added to my diet to help my arthritis was ale.
During my many years in the Fire Service I drank all kinds of beers (thats firefighters for you, all daft ๐Ÿ˜‚) and had no issues with arthritis, I could run climb and generally clamber about ๐Ÿ˜‚. Due to other issues I gave up beer and steadily the arthritis crept in and the Dr had me on so many tablets I rattled.
This year, an old welder told me about his arthritis and his remedy... traditional ale. WTH.. I tried it out.
Every Friday and Saturday night I have a couple of real ales, I no longer take pain killers and my arthritic pain has gone. Apparently, real ale has a natural silicone that helps bones and joints
๐Ÿ˜‰

That's great news Glenn. I guess I need to try some ale then. Thank you for sharing. :)

Heard ale helps too, reasearch,I avoid dairy ,red meat, and any take outs, but sometimes have to do it,and I suffer, more ibs, eggs milk especially and anything anyone else has cooked, currys etc don't bother me as do it all from scratch,we work it out what's good for us and what's not,you will too

These past couple of months I can do eggs. I love 2 boiled eggs in the morning and it does nothing to my P. I buy free range. I like original food. Love curry too. My favorite without chillies of course.
