...feeling angry Ace @chris1623

Itch, treatment, friends & family

Been feeling really depressed , skin is getting red blotchy and itches like hell. Nothing working. Eat the same foods that I've been eating for months. Any suggestions. Don't know how most of you had this your whole life.

Hi Ace, I know it's not easy but being depressed is not going to help you getting rid of the itch. It will only worsen it for you. Have you changed something in our diet? What soaps/creams are you using? I know for a fact that when I eat the wrong food I start to itch.

Hi Ace, I think acceptance is key. Its not easy to accomplish.. took me 20 years. The wrong foods definatley show in my skin, but so do emotions. When I am sad, feeling depressed.. I think that it is my #1 trigger for flare ups. Gratitude & Self Love have been my saving grace. It became habit for me all those years to put so much negativity into my skin. Best thing about that is with hard work those habits can be broken.

Janice, how are you doing? Last time we spoke things weren' t to great? I hope your P is treating you well? Xx

Hi Ace maybe change up your diet. Eat different things for a while. It sounds like something is not helping you. Check out the themes section on diets to get some different ideas.

Hello Ace, I've had psoriasis since 17 and i'm not completely clear. I had to avoid all meats, eggs too, tomatoes and citrus fruits. I consume a lot of green leafy vegetables for fibre, whole wheat or rye bread is good and loctose free products like camembert cheese, johgurt and some nuts (except peanuts) for proteins. I also practice meditation to calm the mind. And most importantly I stopped using steroids, instead i've switched to homeopathic natural cures.

I wish you all success and hope you get well soon.

Sorry, there was a typo error its actually "i'm now completely clear" :)
