Oh . I'm so happy for you MD. Well done. Would you like to share your diet with us? You have always asked questions and even given us the answers to it so I would like to know what you're doing?
Madmum007 @madmum007
Bravo, lucky you :)
Change in food didn't work for me :(
Jen @jen1984

Hi Madmum 07, Changing diet works after 4/6 months, you have to wait and see.
Md @md
Hi Michelle, I ate only rice, spinach, chia seed, wheatgrass juice, apple, lettuce, cabbage, olive oil, turmeric for first 3 weeks. Then I added fish slowly. Now I eat fish everyday. Itβs going on.
Mishlyn @mishlyn
Good for you! That is some great self discipline! Well done md! I have never tried wheatgrass juice, but have heard lots of good things about it. How does it taste?
Md @md
Hi Michelle, wheatgrass juice does not have any bad tast, not bitter. Just like vegetables juice.
Michelle @michelle1021
Thank you MD, I'm going to check for wheatgrass today and try it. :) my diet already consists of what you're eating and combining the wheatgrass can only be wonderful.
Md @md
Hi Michelle,
Add more apple to your diet, ursolic acid from apple peel suppress IL-17, which is the main culprit for psoriasis patients. Also, vitamin A from wheatgrass suppresses this IL-17. You can add the combined action by Apple and wheatgrass.
Michelle @michelle1021
Thank you MD. I will try to eat apples. I don't really eat fruit but I will definitely get apples. I mostly eat bananas and avo's which is good for my P. Can I eat any apples? Red, yellow and green or one in specific?
Md @md
I think eating more banana is not so good for Psoriasis, because of its high histamine and sugar. I eat red apple always sometimes a green one also.
Ava @ava1
I just Googled IL-17, and several studies showed that curcumin inhibits IL-17. Just bought more of this golden spice! π₯
Ava @ava1
Md: I notice that you live in Japan. Is the rice you're eating white? I'm asking only because I much prefer white rice, but some P diets say brown or wild rice only. I'd appreciate your advice on this, thanks! And congratulations!!! πππ
Md @md
Hi Ava,
I eat white rice everyday, 2-3 times. No problem with rice. Yes curcumin also inhibit IL-17. I use this spice also during my cooking vegetables or fish
Michelle @michelle1021
I eat curcumin in most of my dishes. This is very interesting. Thank you Md
Jonathan @jonathan2897
Stick with white rice, the lectins in the brown rice are a problem.
Linda @justicejones
Gosh and I have been told to be healthy to use brown rice guess I will switch back. Have only a small patch so far and want to get rid of that and not have any more.
Ava @ava1
Thanks for your input, Jonathan. I know that I haven't felt any ill effects from white rice, and I eat rather a lot of it, though I'm slowing down now to focus more on veggies. I typically eat basmati and rinse it thoroughly to remove as much arsenic as possible.
Jen @jen1984
Same here Ava.
My dad always cooked the rice in our household and told us to always wash the rice until the water is clear. Which i do till this day.
Michelle @michelle1021
My parents and family does the same Jen. Rinse it till the water is clear. Brown rice has never given me any problems. I eat white Basmati (yasmin) and its very nice and soft on my skin. Brown rice is also good for me. Can't complain. I sometimes mix the two of them together.
Sarah @sarahuk
White rice yes! Good for you Md, that is awesome. Will you continue to introduce things, or are you sticking to your restrictions for a longer time?
