Itch

Today, SO itchy, I'd responded recently in a post saying that I don't get that itchy..... must have started something 'cause I've been VERY itchy of late.... humidity... I think that's it.

No John, nothing different really. I've tried and tried to relate what I eat to my psoriases ... thus far to no success. I do a food log... I should try harder maybe to change my diet, but I haven't really connected anything. I've had food sensitivities since I was about 16... mostly related to bowel symptoms.. I'm sensitive to wheat among too many things to list.... but I haven't found a connection yet to my P. With the warm weather I get hot! I'm covered from head to toe and I'm worse this way. I'm embarrassed to be so covered in the hot weather...

Deborah, I just posted a solution I stumbled upon. Mix 3% hydrogen peroxide with an equal amount of DRINKABLE aloe vera juice. Spray on and allow to dry fully. It's working wonders with the itch and is helping with the healing, as I'm far less tempted to pick! 🦋 The drinkable aloe vera has to be refrigerated, so I make up and pour into a small spray bottle just enough for 24 hours. Hope it works for you!!!

Could very well be the humidity Deborah. Apple cider vinegar works amazing for me when the itch is driving me crazy. Lemons are good too. Little sting.. but its a hurts so good kinda feeling. Really worth it for me.

Deborah, if your P is related to irritable bowel, a product called colostrum may help. I buy mine from Sovereign Laboratories here in the US and have been using it for about a month. Google it, as it's helped numerous folks with IBS. Best wishes!

Thank you Ava; not sure if it's related or not. I had IBS when I was younger, but not so much as of late. Things seem to have mostly died down. I will look at the info you sent however as one never knows. So kind of you to suggest it.

Humidity is a big cause for flaring my P Deborah. That and air pollution. (apart from the bad food of course). My youngest daughter has IBS but since she started eating the food I eat for my P, it has improved so I'm not sure if it's the food or something else. :)

I'm going to mix up a batch of your spray Ava, maybe that will help. Cool, thanks.
