Hi Jasmine, I've been following the Autoimmune Protocol for 6 months, and have just come out of elimination phase into what is now basically a maintenance diet. It was very strict to start with, and then gradually reintroduced foods to see if any triggered the p. Now I've chosen an approach based on what I found and will stick with that for a while. I post about it sometimes!

I follow an auto immune disease and low histamine diet. Through research and with trial and error I’ve found there IS a link. My life has improved tremendously since I’ve adjusted my diet! Not only has it improved my skin but, my stomach is much nicer to me as well! I had to eliminate foods I LOVE and even went back to them a few times just to be sure and every time my skin and stomach let me know that I cannot tolerate fresh tomatoes, fresh strawberries, and ketchup(just to name a few). Google low histamine foods and it’ll help you get started if you’re interested in learning more. Best wishes!
