Hello Ruben,I went on psoriasis support, what a lot of crap, no one wants to listen to me there :( they moved my posts down from the top as obviously they didnt like my Diet/lifestyle posts, I told them they are crap, people were sending in comments which had nothing to do with my post, waste of time so, i deleted the account, too many bad pics of flakes anyway,I just want to throw up, sorry to say :) its okay here i think :)

I have seen it for myself. On another P support group, but I was amazed in how illiterate they were in Psoriasis. I mean, none of us are Einsteins on here right but we want to learn more about our condition and how we can manage it. The advice some people give is amazing on that site. Amazingly stupid and the P sufferers eat it up like cake (I guess they sit and type with a piece of cake in their hand as well) .

Ruben @ruben

Oh cool... NOT
Not listening to other people is the dumbest thing ever...
When you read the posts here and have some common sense, you should be able to conclude that diet/lifestyle is extremely important, if not the most important. You can clear your skin with medication, you can't "heal" P with medicine without changing diet/lifestyle. Enough people on here that have witnessed that first hand. Me included.
Flaym forever :)

I agree with you. It feels like a warm blanket. This really is a nice place. People are mostly polite and do talk about the right things. Are supportive. Not too much blabla or unbelievable weird advice.

Michelle @michelle1021

True Ruben. I'm so glad you said that about diet/lifestyle. I know that John has been telling every one on Flaym about diet/lifestyle changes but some don't think it's the diet. Sufferers are mad to not listen to you John. Flaymers have insight and they are prepared to take advice, as well as give. People with no 'sight' will never be able to do this.

I find the collective advice on Flaym awesome. Since recently I’m now vegan, and I’m healing the last bits of my 40 years long, initially severe but for the last 25 years quite mild, p. I can’t stay away from my Friday wine so not ready for the full elimination just yet. I’ve been gluten free for 25 years, but the last bits were just a bit stubborn! Lifestyle and diet changes - way to go - follow John and the rest.

Thank you Karin :) well one needs to let their hair down from time to time and i do too and thats okay, its when one is doing bad toxins in foods on a daily basis is when the inflammation will just progress for the worst for sure thank you :)

Glad you are happiest here John, me too! I don't like the support groups with pictures, I find it too much and feel that sometimes it somehow becomes competitive in some kind of way. I like that here, it is about sharing and support. Flaym love ✌️✌️✌️

Great Sarah, Flaym asked me around a year ago, would i like things to be changed on here with pics and all that, i said no, there would be too many flakes shown and it wont help if one is in a bad way looking at all that, thats my opinion, we all know what it looks like and one can google like Michelle did which is fine i think as it gives you that choice to see and i would find it upsetting for the person whos in a bad way and it wont make them feel better with persons giving the shock horror etc type comments , my opinion though thanks :)

I agree! Theres no place like Flaym ❀ I find the other groups out there very cold & more negative than anything. There is unity, peace, love & respect here that I am so grateful to be a part of ❀

As a newbie to this site, im loving it ☺ I must confess it took me many weeks to put my big boy pants on and join in the convos.I dont mind admitting that my initial reaction very negative and that since leaving the fire service, I have developed social anxiety. But then a few days ago, I thought wth try it out. Im glad I did, this is a site full of awesome people with similar ps related issues all around the globe 😘 (thats for ladies John.. you get one of these..🍺)

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is a wonderful support group that I've learned from. I don't like the pictures either. When I look at them then I tend to dwell on my skin more in a negative way. But sharing experiences, problems and positive results helps us all grow and we can feel the warm and cozy from fellow flaymers.
