...feeling hopeful Dianna @diannad
I had a 71 yr old friend tell me recently, he got P on his elbows occasionally. When he was in the army, an old army dr told him to quit eating anything pickled. Said as soon as he did, it all goes away completely? Anybody had any experience on that?

Hi Dianne. Never been a fan of pickles, since little. My girls loves it and I can't see why. All that vinegar! But, having Chips/fries with lots of vinegar...now that is Delicious :)

This has nothing to do with pickles but I am going to go on a gluten free diet next week as I read that eating wheat products is not good for the big P. Hope it helps me.

According to my friend, it was anything pickled. Pickled eggs, beets, pickles, etc. I don't eat anything of that nature except dill pickles, I could eat them daily. So I am thinking its a fluke with him, LOL He IS lucky it just happens occasionally with him. Every time I think I have got onto something to help, it will almost go away completely then get up and bam its all there again.

I eat all kinds of pickles, fermented and not. All my life! Never thought it made a difference. Still eat pickles and no issues now. Love, love love fermented vegetables!
