Quote for the weekend: "A bad attitude is like a flat tyre. If you don't change it, you'll never get anywhere." We need to change our attitude towards our diet/lifestyle, to be able to manage our P. Live the life you love. Make that change.

Thank you John. One thing I can say, I'm living the life I love, and I know many others like yourself do too.

Once upon a time, I was a voluntary ambulanceman, but I wanted to be a Fireman. My first attempt with the FS MO (Dr) failed due the impact of physical demands on my ps. I appealed and had to see the senior MO. We discussed and he pondered, then agreed on a trial. That was 29 years ago. 28 years later, I had to leave, but not due to ps. In all those years of almost close intimate friendships across all services and for the thousands I taught fire safety to, I learned one thing. Ps is not a barrier, there is no need to be embarrassed and we are no different than anybody else.
Life deals out hardships to all walks of life. We now live in a diverse world and many things are more acceptable.
I dont like to think of myself as having an exceptional career or at an advantage as a firefighter. I have lost many colleagues to much worse.
My point is, why hide your ps, change your attitudes and behaviours, there is nothing to be embarrassed about ps 😚😎😚
