Phototherapy UVB light treatment has worked really well for me through the Dermatologist and hospital but with me moving to another city I am having to start the process all over again with waiting to see a new dermatologist so that could take months and in the mean time it drives me nuts and spreads but I am keeping my spirits up and not letting much bother me

yes good spirits is better way better than stressing over it. how long have you had psoriasis george ? do you have psoriatic arthritis aswell ?

I have had arthritis for a number of years in the knees and hands but the psoriasis flared up about 4 years ago just after we found out our little granddaughter had cancer I believe it was brought on with stress and trauma as the doctors think. I had been involved in one of our many fund raisers at the time and in order to raise a pile of money I volunteered to have my chest waxed and it was right after that it got me

i am sorry to hear that george, you been through a lot ,quite a few people here that had got psoriasis and some with psoriatic arthitis aswell through a traumatic event. i was born with psoriasis 48 years now and i got psoriatic arhtritis 34 years later thats 14 years now. i am glad its not severe, it is a pain sometimes, it could be worse. i havnt been to a dermotoligist in 32 years as that was not nice, they got the whole team in without my permissin to have a gaup at my skin so never been since then.

Hi George, welcome to this great group. I have had psoriasis for 60 years and always felt alone so it is great to hear about others and I have learnt so much in such a short space of time.

Hello, George... saw your message last night, but was so bushed, I had to turn off the computer and go to bed! My psoriasis is pretty much at rest right now... all but my psoriasis on my scalp... Guess you could say I carry a snowstorm around with me on my glasses! Hope all is well with you as well.
