Sounds almost a childish question this but, which is worst, plaque or guttae. I had plaque for years, guttae for just months. The guttae is driving me insane, the itching and way more pain and bleeding.

I wouldnt know James, think i just have plaque but, maybe some inverse? who knows?, sorry about all this with your P :(
30 Jul 07:32
Besides my scalp & nails ...I also get inverse which is itchy & sore... sometimes I get guttate on my bum cheeks , crack & lower back...those are bad because I scratch & they end up being open sores...... :-(

Sorry James, can't help you with this question. I have plaque and had some inverse a few months ago.
I hope it gets better soon. :)

Et Tu Guttae way more bothersome and I get the fissues from them and my feet and hands transform...wish it were a super power..takes weeks to get in control I get really sad..hurts like the dickens..Hugs my friend from the High Plains Desert of Nevada...still smokey on my side of the Mountains here from three fires now in California dang bad

This is a great question! One I wish we didn't know an answer to. For me, guttate is worse than plaque. The coverage is so much bigger, and it is much more disheartening to see it growing so quickly... whereas the plaque is very stubborn but fairly stable in comparison for me. So sad to hear how your guttate is with you at the moment. My guttate is also bad right now, my forearms are a sore mess. I've been including nightshades in my diet again for a month, so I think I'll be going back off that. I didn't get any acute pain for eating nightshades, but maybe they build up in my system... I'd been off them a year before that. How is your fasting going James?

I'm sticking to it so far. Morning is hardest. I can have tea or coffee with no milk or sugar, and water obviously, but that's all. I find keeping myself busy helps the most.

I never have to concern myself with being too busy as most days I always am busy. Gardening,Huge yard,animals...canning season is coming as well and fortunately I am a Nurse so I can still do home care which is less stressfull as well..I know age wise I am getting older but in my head I still think I am thirty..so I tend to over do P isn't taught in Colleges...I have become self taught on that subject..Take care my friend and Guttae is bothersome today as well..Clint his suggestion works too by the way.

Diagnosed with guttate and its itchy painful and always bleeding somewhere. I was on biologics for 3 years but my md stopped it bec my insurance was maxed out. I'm on topical steroids and it takes some of the symptoms away but I am having more eruptions lately. I'm looking for a new dermatologist bec my current one wont allow me to make an appointment.

Edwin, I'm sorry to hear of your insurance issue, I sometimes forget how lucky I am living in the UK. I have 4 UV sessions left and apart from a couple of tiny spots I'm plaque free. I also forgot I'd asked the original question. As it happens, the dermatologist told me my GP was wrong, it was all plaque P I had, just squillions of discrete patches.

Edwin, Hello, Have you tried Diet/lifestyle changes? Some have great results with this but its no short term fix, My arthritis is great aswell as my nails,Diet/lifestyle changes works for a lot of people with Psoriasis, reduce inflammation ,Some can heal up to near nothing on this , It worth a go if one wants to, though it is a choice i know ,Some changes in diet/lifestyle is better than none but, it is a choice a choice for everyone, I wish you well :)

Like you James, i could be having free drugs, Biologics and all that but choose not to,, so i go as natural as possible, Edwin, You can try Vita- biotics,Its a supplement for gut health like Liverel or Well man + if you like, though thats a choice too, I am doing that now, try go easy on steroids, not good long term, just my advice, Hope things get better for you

Ty for the advice and lately I've been having a lot of episodes of upset GI. I've stayed away from a lot of gluten rich food and doing more fruits and vegetables but my palate seems to easily get used to bland food so I do look for seasoned type of food. Will try vita biotics.

I had all -plaque came on after medications, Guttate usually came on after strep. I finally got off all medications and I followed natural healing. I am completely clear. Dietary changes and natural remedies helped me tremendously.
