I just finished watching Vitamania. I'm glad I live in Australia. I'm glad I'm not taking any supplements any more.

I am so jealous, you not taking supplements.
Everyday I rattle!

What did they say about vitamins Jen? I take a multivitamin every morning.
12 Aug 15:09
I take Slow Mag which really helps with my restless legs. Omega 3 and Caltrate.
12 Aug 18:07
I take multivitamin and the highest potency probiotics.
I took Flora women's probiotics with 50 billion. Says aids with vag health.
Mow I found at Walmart 80 billion Critical Care organics probiotics.
It's in the vitamin aisle this Dr. Brand has a line of multivitamin and probiotics.
Seems lately digestive health has been one of my issues.
I think a lot of our health issues is they put so many chemicals in our food. Dyes, preservatives

I totally agree. I haven't even taken Omega's now for months. I ONLY take Moringa Powder that I order through a company. Add it to water and drink it. Tastes like Mango's... Synthetic vitamins are actually like poison, but I never knew that till a few years ago. One powder gives me all I need!

Michelle it's a 2 hour doco. You can find it on YouTube. Catherine Price wrote the book. I'm flabbergasted to learn that in the USA there's no regulation on foods or vitamins. There are so many. It sickens me to see how Vits are made. Chemicals/synthetics. Much stricter here in Oz and some European countries.
13 Aug 03:13
I used to take Omegas.
These organic vitamins are fruit and veggie derived.
I checked the ingredients.
I found organic ground turmeric. I put it in that new Tropicana probiotics juice and shake it. It's a little spicy.
Most of these vitamins, I hate the idea of plastic coating. What else is in it.
What I'm buying is a line called Garden of Life Dr. Formulated vitamins and probiotics.
All natural, organic, vegan. At Wal-Mart in the vitamin aisle

True Jen which is why I keep everything organic. I don't take medication of any sort apart from my coal tar. Scary to know about bits.
Hey Susan, hope wedding plans are going good? We miss you on here! The moringa is excellent, I've heard about it, but never tried it. I Did not know it comes in powder base?
13 Aug 08:17
I researched Moringa Powder from Amazon but with our Rand to dollar exchange rate it would cost around R4,000 which is out of my price range. I stopped taking my magnesium, Omega and Caltrate for 3 months and took Moringa capsules from Dischem but found my body needed the other ones.
13 Aug 10:29
That is too expensive. I'd stay with my vital. It gives me what I need. I also sometimes drink kelp. Good for our P as well.
13 Aug 12:53
In what form does your Kelp come? Is it a ready made drink or do you dissolve it? I'm interested Michelle.
13 Aug 13:07
Its in pill form Jen. I drank it at first to lose some weight but then I read its quite good for P. I dont live near the ocean so can't really go for a swim, but I've been drinking it for a couple of years now. :)
13 Aug 13:09
Some women and men with thyroid problems do drink it as well. 2 tablets a day.
13 Aug 14:50
Oh yes I've taken Kelp capsules before but no thanks.
13 Aug 15:49
Nowhere in Southend sells Kelp OR Krill capsules...…...
13 Aug 20:09
Yes Michelle. Mine is pretty much ground powder Moringa. Not all Moringa is the same. Capsule and teas are kind of a waste of money. I guess it’s how my brain works. Easier to just add the powder to my shake or just in water. Easy to take with me too. I used some stuff a few years ago that was great but lots of bottles and it drove me nuts. Lol. One package in the morning now and I have all the vitamins I need.
Nice to be missed. Thanks. I’ll be more regular when my wedding is done. Blessings to you all!
14 Aug 08:43
Sounds great Susan. I only take one multi vit in the morning, much better than having all these bottles of bits to swallow. Too much work any way. :)

Sounds interesting, may have to watch!

Jen, What I discovered is that increased itching and flaking comes down to 3 things alcohol sugary, fried, or processed foods and stress. If you can base your diet around anti-inflammatory whole foods, avoid stressful people and situations, and stay away from alcohol I can almost guarantee your condition will improve. This is the result of my own personal experience.

I stopped taking multi’s a while ago. I do take vitamin B1, thiamin, it helps with the brain fog. I take kelp powder, fenegreek powder, lecithin and phsyllium every morning and have a green smoothie for lunch, I think I get plenty of vitamins. I am taking Vit D at present, but will stop once this lot is finished. My D levels were down, although my rheumatologist doesn’t think it’s a problem.
