Looks, coping, diet

Recent flare has died down, yayyy! So grateful. A busy time right now... Still focusing on diet and inflammation. Doubled up turmeric tea and been very limited on fruit. Continuing that approach, focusing more on sugars in foods... See how it goes!👍

That's good news Sarah.

I was advised recently that if your Psoriasis has emerged on your elbows and knees, every night JUST BEFORE BED, rub a citrus fruit skin.
There are chemicals which react with the Psoriasis!

Justin does it matter what one?? I mean I’m allergic to drinking orange juice but idk what else possibly a lemon?? What do u think?

Any citrus fruit APPAERENTLY.

Lemons, limes, grapefruit any type of orange AS LONG AS IT IS CITRUS!

Lemons do the trick,go figure, maybe more ascetic?

Good for you Sarah. That sugar thing is a tough one for sure. Sugar is in pretty much everything, hence myself limiting my fruit. Not hard at all now as I have been doing this for years. I live in the fruit capitol of many places. It's abundant... Peaches, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, nectarines, to name a few. All fresh and very sweet. Right now we also have fresh corn and that is the one thing I will not do without during high season. Like caviar on a cob... OMGoodness!

Jennifer just want to tell you that I do not drink juice at all. Fresh or not. It's really loaded with sugar. Just saying.

Wow Susan all that fruit....that sounds like an abundance.
But yeah I know. I only eat apples and pears atm. Want to eat some more though.

I just have a question. Fruits make worse our condition?

Susan
Susan @godcares

Yes Jen. Tons of fruit. Got a huge box of peaches and plums today for $5.00. Unbelievable. Making it all into fruit leather for our wedding next month. Woohoo

Marino it’s not so much the fruit but the sugar that used to be an issue. Pears seem to be ok but in the area of BC Canada I’m in the fruit is beautiful and loaded with sugar. Natural yes but sugar is sugar.
